"We had a water damage from an overflow toilet, after plumbing repair and moisture treatment, Peter’s company was hired to restore the home original status, they have successfully repaired the dry wall and put light fixture in place, they replaced bath floor and countertop with much better material within our budget limit, now the bathroom looks completely new. They are very professional, friendly, and they show strong craftsmanship through their work."

"Vic Johnson and his crew were extremely knowledgeable about construction in general, friendly and accommodating throughout the entire process answering a multitude of questions, pivoting when needed, helping educate us homeowners of the hows and whys, and bending over backwards to make things right...when work wasn't going to plan (and remodels never go perfectly as planned). They were fair, and provided an enormous value. I'd highly recommend Johnson and Sons for any remodel you may have."

"Vic Steiner is honest, experienced, meticulous yet practical. He is a problem solver and his skills are many. He has worked on numerous projects for us, all of which have been done to high standards. He approaches each project as if it were for his own home. Here are some of the projects he has accomplished for us, or for close neighbors: kitchen remodel, bath remodel, flooring (both installation and refinishing) , basement renovation, outdoor work (decking, outdoor lighting, fencing, brickwork, paths). He generally works alone, and if a project is too ambitious for him (it rarely is) he will honestly decline it. He avoids traffic by arriving mid morning and leaving later in the day than most contractors. We give him our very strongest recommendation."

"I really appreciate the follow-through and help I received from Teri at The Handyman of S.E. Bellevue. She went over my project in detail and said that this kind of technical work would probably be best served by a company that specializes in this cable and ethernet install. I really appreciate her taking the time to tell me that. We also went over what they CAN do for me in the future and she sent me a list about that and their COVID-19 protocol to keep them and us safe! Also they are fully insured and the team brings a lot of extras in the truck with them to get the work done that day. All the years I've needed help doing home remodels and small upgrades, this type of customer service is rare. This company will be my next go to for estimates on home repairs and remodels. If you, like us, no longer can or want to do the handyman chores around your house, these are the team for you."

"An appropriate replacement stair was provided and carefully installed. The politeness and courtesy of the skilled installers was simply outstanding. The custom work in fitting the stairs to the existing attic opening was a marvel of workmanship. The cleanup of the area was extremely thorough. We would hire GMG again without hesitation. We highly recommend!"

"I recently hired Puget Sound BNR for a major renovation project, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They listened carefully to my ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and kept me informed throughout every stage of the project. The quality of craftsmanship was outstanding, and the attention to detail exceeded my expectations. The crew arrived on time, maintained a clean work area, and treated my home with respect. The project was completed on schedule, and the finished results completely transformed my space. "It took us time to find a contractor. We got over Six quotes only two contractors actually sent us a bid. Ben was very responsive. He sent us the quote within a week from the visit. We were very satisfied with the process. We were always in the know. We have done renovations In the past with contractors and we were always not pleased with not knowing the schedule. We finally found someone we can trust and will definitely be using him again. Thank you again Ben it was a pleasure meeting you and working with you."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Hobart, WA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
