After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. "After contacting 10+ roofers and I found that many of them either don't have the time or don't want to do a repair job. Those that did come tried to talk me into a whole new roof or didn't respond back with an estimate as promised. I contacted Home Squad and what a HUGE difference! Mia in the office set up the appointment and was a dream to speak with regarding questions before and after the job. On the day of our inspection Jerry called just prior to our appointed time to advise that he was about 30 minutes away from arriving. What consideration! Our inspection went great. He explained everything in detail that needed to be done to correct the problem and he even checked out the rest of the roof to make sure that nothing else was wrong. He left the estimate prior to leaving and even called and left a message to say that he left it in a different place than discussed. Professionalism. On the day of the repair everything was handled correctly by two every nice gentlemen. You would never know that a repair had been made as nothing was out of place afterwards and the roof was perfect. Needless to say Home Squad will be getting the job of re-roofing our house when the time comes and I will be referring them to all my friends."

"This was our second kitchen remodel with Kitchen Plus with our first in 2008 at previous home. Their tag line On Time-On Budget is exactly what happens. During demolishing the support beam was not as anticipated (sorry don't know building terms etc) and previous kitchen remodel in 80's by former owners had faulty electrical work. However, with KP any problems discovered after signing the contract are covered by the company not the owner. In addition, they guarantee time to complete model and if they go over promised end date they pay you! There is a lot of planning that goes on prior to start date including picking all necessary cabinets, hardware etc and when day one starts the project manager can tell you exactly what date what work will be done. Our project manager Tim Burr was fantastic! He was prompt, detailed oriented, conscientious, hard working and good to our dogs who wanted to sneak in and see what was going on. Can't thank him enough for making our kitchen remodel as painless as possible. KP stands by their work. As we settle back into kitchen and notice any little detail that is off, Tim will be available to fix or remedy problem. Ongoing we can contact KP service department as they guarantee their work. Hopefully we won't move again and need another kitchen remodel, but if we do Kitchen Plus will get a call!"

"An Evan Conklin plumber came to my house March 27th to investigate a leaky kitchen faucet. His work and even the cost of the job were OK I guess, although, after most of an hour, the faucet was neither fixed nor replaced. My complaint is with the coupon I got from the plumber’s list on Angie's List. (I haven't hired a plumber in the seven years we've lived in this almost-new townhome.) I asked for a list of plumbers within 5 miles of my address here in Seattle. I noticed that many of the plumbers had coupons or promotional deals, such as and quot;10% off...and quot;. Evan Conklin Plumbing and Heating had a member coupon that you could print out, which read: and quot;$39.95 first 1/4 hour charge with no travel charges within Seattle City limits.and quot; I presented this coupon when the worker finished. He said that the coupon just meant that he wouldn't add a trip charge to the bill. That made no sense to me and after we talked about it he called the owner (Evan) and I talked to him. He said the same thing as the worker. After we went around and around about it, he agreed that the coupon was of no value to me since I only lived a mile from his business; i.e., if I lived farther away the coupon would have saved me a trip charge. I showed the coupon to my wife and she was incredulous. Like me, to her the wording and implication of the coupon were clear: I would save about $40 off my bill. This feels like a used car salesman experience, or like bait-and-switch. I selected Evan Conklin Plumbing from the list in Angie's List in large part because of the coupon. If the coupon was about saving a trip charge if you live far away, it should have said exactly that, don't you think? Of course I'm not going to deal with Evan Conklin anymore, but I also think you should put a black mark in your rating for them for this coupon deception.
