"I have heard of this company even before I went to Angie's List and nothing but good things. The only reason I didn't hire this time as I had just signed a contract with somebody else that I had contacted before I went to Angie's list. I wish I had waited as when he called he was very professional and by talking to him I could tell he knows what he's doing. Also, unlike some other contractors he called me within an hour after I submitted my request. Next time I will call him first."

"Apollo and his crew showed up on time. This was a mobile home front door and wanted to replace it with a standard house door and add a Larson retractable screen storm door so had to open the door way height and width. The crew worked all day even during lunch there was someone working. The door was completed that day. I had to go purchase the Larson door and they came back the next morning finish the job. The crew and Apollo were professional and polite. The finished product turned out great. I will hire again for any more jobs that I need done."

"Evan and his crew are extremely hard working and professional. They do it all, from ground up construction to remodeling, but most importantly they do it right and don't cut corners. If you are looking for a honest general contractor you can trust, with an eye for detail and amazing work ethic, look no further."

"Since we needed to roof two homes, they brought two crews and each job was done separately. The entire process was very professional and actually very fast. The crew for this house caught a little bit of a break in that the roof is not steep, it just has a simply gable roof on a ranch-style home. This crew was top-notch, they cleaned up the job site everyday and also rolled a magnet over the area daily to keep the area free of nails. I am very happy with the end product and I feel very confident that the McFall family will fully stand behind their warranty. I highly recommend this family for building or roofing projects."

"Because we had moved our furniture into the tiled kitchen that Mike would run his water hose through, I asked him if there was any chance the hose might leak and cause damage to our furniture. He assured us that it was not a concern of his. Mike arrived on time and did a pre-treatment spray on the stains that we were hopeful would be removed. Unfortunately after cleaning all carpets, the stains remained. We asked if he could spend more time to remove the stains, but were told he needed to get to his next job. Needless to say we were disappointed. Well there WAS water on the kitchen floor that had occurred during the cleaning process. As Mike was gathering up the hoses, I started wiping up the floor fearful that my furniture would get wet or someone would slip on the tile floor. He did not offer to help clean up and did not seem concerned that his service had not met our expectations. On the positive side, the carpet was very clean except for the stains.  <br />"

"I called three different renovation companies to get an estimate on putting in a new door in a hallway entrance. Two of them never returned my phone calls. With all the new construction in my neighborhood, they probably felt they didn't need such a small job. This company responded very quickly and the estimate was very reasonable. The owner (John) came with his head carpenter and they took measurements to get the correct door size. The work was done by the head carpenter, Jesus (who does excellent work), another associate, and Jesus also brought his son since there was no school that day. The work was completed in about 3 hours, including the framing, painting, and adding on the handle (I provided the paint and new door handle). When it was finished, the door looked as if it had been part of the original building. They also cleaned up all debris and swept the front porch. This is the second time I have used this company and they really do a great job. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Hollister, FL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
