"Everything went great! The project took about 2 weeks. The old tar/gravel roof was removed and a new metal roof was installed on 3/4 of the house. The other 1/4 required TPO since it was a completely flat area. A lot of the old wood had to be replaced due to the age and termite activity. Flashing up around the chimney is holding up great and a part of my old rainwater collection gutter system was even reinstalled on the new roof. The fascia and soffit looks great too. We've been through 5-6 rain storms already and there has been no leaks. The wood around the garage was replaced and then the whole thing was wrapped in vinyl for a clean look. Two end features on the peak of the house were wrapped as well and it made the house look very clean and neat. As for cleanup, for the most part all went well. As can be expected, a few old roofing nails were found, but not that many. A few short pieces of metal roofing and a few leftover panels were left behind as well as a bag of screws. (We made a shed with them) Overall we were very satisfied. Other roofing companies we called were quoting us $18-20K without the addition of the extra wood and the cost of the fascia/soffit or the garage repair."

Mr. Griffith came out to look at my roof.  I had a leak in one area of the roof.  My roof is 15 years old but he said he thought it didn't need replacing yet and he could do a patch.  He had 2 men at home 2 days later.  They arrived between 8:30 and 9:00 and were finished by noon when I arrived back home.  They cleaned up everything very well, the patch looks very good.

I was very pleased.  I had called 3 other roofers that didn't want to come out to even look for a month or more. 

Since then I also had a home inspection and the inspector said whoever did the patch did a very good job.  Since I know very little about roofing I was very pleased to hear that.

I would definitely use B. Griffith again, and would recommend him to anyone.

"Barnhardt Construction did a great job. I have an awesome sturdy new deck that will last a long time. The new kitchen cabinet & countertops are beautiful, the plumbing was done right, they redid the rotten ramp off my back door so it is safe & will last, & no more hole in the floor by the side door. Chris always responded immediately to my texts, phone calls, & emails. The repair work was done in a timely manner & the crew was there when promised on time. Since we were previously told that our repair could not be done because of the lack of availability of our tiles, Duramax contacted various "boneyards" on our behalf (something the other company we previously used did not offer to do) and found an a good number of tiles available. Lo and behold when they did the repair (which again the other company said couldn't be done) they didn't need to replace ANY tiles."
