"Alejandro from First Response Mitigation was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Two months after purchasing my condo, while I was away for the summer the AC system broke down, so my apartment turned into a swamp. Finding mold as a first time homebuyer was a complete nightmare. But Alejandro was amazing. He walked me through the entire process so I understood how every step worked. And he was really patient with me explaining everything in detail and answering all of my questions. After removing the mold and treating the affected areas, he installed a commercial air scrubber and dehumidifier which he kept running in the apartment for 4 days even though the foul odor was gone within hours. "They weren't forthcoming about additional testing. Base inspection $299 then additional $400+ for lab testing. Wish I had known for vendor comparison purposes. However, I think it was worth it. Owner said the techs need to be instructed to say it was optional, but it helps you better understand the mold your dealing with. Glad I did it but not sure if it could have been done for less."
