"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

"After researching and visiting numerous home remodeling companies, we visited the beautiful showroom of Fresh Remodel and met Andrea and Dasiel Duran. We were interested in remodeling our kitchen and master bathroom, with new flooring throughout the house, as well as new ceiling lights and new closet systems. Andrea was invaluable as an interior designer and planner, spending many hours with us reviewing and finalizing our plans as well as making certain we chose the right hardware, lights and material for the floors and the cabinets. As the project manager, Dasiel overlooked and coordinated the exceptional and professional workforce which completely gutted and then rebuilt the interior of our home. Dasiel was also able to quickly alleviate any concerns and kept the project on schedule. Andrea and Dasiel truly model their business on their slogan "Every Detail Counts". "The job itself went very well. The crew was friendly and professional. The floor still looks great 3 years on. The only issue, albeit a pretty big one, was a clogged toilet after the job was done. It took some time to get the plumber in. To no avail, as they exhausted all the standard clog removal techniques. We thought it could be the toilet itself, so we had it replaced, and that still did not fix it. Ultimately, they ended up breaking into the floor and found a rag was stuck pretty deep down in the plumbing. This all took around two weeks after the initial job. Being that it took so long to diagnose the issue, I didn't expect much when I contacted the company about it. They denied any wrongdoing. Thanks for the memories, and the $1100 plumbing bill."

"Fernando is truly a master of his craft. We had extensive damage from rot, water, and termites in our oak hardwood floors. This was due to improper installation of the original flooring by a previous owner. Fernando tore the flooring and subfloor out down to the concrete for 2/3 of the floor. He rebuilt the entire floor and replaced it with new properly installed flooring. The integration of the old and new flooring is seamless. His expert staining of the new flooring exactly matches the decades old original. You get what you pay for. Don’t be intimidated by the price of his work he’s reasonable and flexible and worked with us to keep the costs as low as possible. He cleaned up the worksite removing all the debris from the tear out. I will be hiring him for a refinish job in the near future. I strongly suggest that you choose this company as your top contender for your hardwood floor work."

"We were replacing a huge amount of tile and old carpet in our home. Face of Wood was the medium bid but we had a very poor impression of the low bid person. He seemed unprofessional and seemed to constantly say "no problem" without really even looking at what we were looking for. So we hired Face of Wood. From the very beginning, they were great to work with and very patient with us as we went through wood selection and working with us on the budget. They finished today and did an outstanding job. This is the 3rd home we've installed wood floors in and by far the best. Wood floors are all the same right? What makes them different? It's the small details. Some examples, we used variable width planks and they spaced them very well. The baseboards were put back in great shape. The closets had built in shelving and they were able to actually remove portions to install the flooring underneath instead of a bunch of cuts. That is all good and what you should expect from any quality installer. What makes them great is their ability to go above and beyond. We had 3 very large entertainment centers/built-ins that we wanted removed. I spent weeks trying to find someone to haul them off. Face of Wood came to the rescue and arranged to have it all removed at no additional cost. Our garage door was mis-aligned and would stick shut. They fixed the door on their own. There was a small dent in one of the wood planks that I was hesitant to even mention. After a brief mention, they replaced the plank that same day and never made me feel like I was being too nit-picky. Will definitely use them for all our wood flooring needs. While working on floors, we also discovered they do kitchens with the subdivision Face of Kitchen. We hired them for a kitchen remodel as well. That project is still in progress but so far, we are getting the same level of professionalism and quality work."
