"I just want to say a few words about Nathaniel and the crew over at ASW Plasterworks LLC. We are currently building a new home and were looking for a stucco contractor. After endless hours on the internet, I decided to request a contractor on home advisor. The next day I received a call from some guy named Nathaniel. We set up a time and date for him to come over and walk the site to get me a quote on the project. Nathaniel showed up on the agreed time. I have very little knowledge about stucco, except that we are on strict budget. From the minute Nathaniel stepped out of the truck and the whole time he visited the site, he educated me on every aspect of the stucco process, including the various materials used by different contractors and the materials durability (You get what you pay for), we all know that. After he left without a commitment other than he would get back to me with a bid, I got to thinking, he never seemed to be pushy but rather just tried to inform me about stucco processes. Also his honesty and forthcoming about stucco sold me and my wife to hire this contractor, I'm sure glad we did. Nathaniel showed up to the job at the agreed upon time to start, and as I got to know the crew that he had with him, I realized that this was a GOLD MINE of a crew. Any questions that I had were answered right away, and it didn't matter what crewman I asked, and their craftsmanship was superb. Each evening I would walk around the house after the crew left inspecting the work, I would notice how they paid attention to details, such as making sure all the stucco rails were level and plumb and how well the lath was attached to the walls of the house. After ASW finished our house, They did an extra effort on the cleanup and made sure that every inch of the job was 100% complete. It's been a few days since they finished and I can not find a single thing wrong on the whole siding job of this house. Looking down the walls on the outside of the house is flat and true, all the expansion joints are clean and it had made our new house look amazing. Nathaniel, PELON, Brian, and Kenneth are a very rare crew these days. I know all this because I am an ex-contractor, I've been around. So if you are hunting a excellent stucco contractor with very reasonable rates, you need to hire this company, you won't be disappointed. "Jennifer responded immediately to schedule an estimate. Michael provided a detailed quote and answered all of my questions. After selecting M&J Home Improvement of SA, Michael coordinated with me to schedule the repairs and provided all information I needed for my prior approval from my homeowner’s association. Michael and his crew was on time, prepped the entire interior and exterior, performed the work perfectly, and cleaned the work are every day. The work included repairing studs and header beam that had rotted. To complete, they needed to remove interior drywall, insulation, a large window, and replace the studs and beams. They then removed the damaged exterior stucco and replaced. The project took about 8 work days to complete and looks better than new. We also had ceiling and drywall damage in our garage following a summer monsoon that was also repaired at the same time. M & J did such an amazing job that we will be using them for a kitchen and master bath remodel as well as to repair exterior French doors that were improperly installed by the previous owners."

"Our doors were ten years old and really looking worn. Marvin came and recommended a color. We ended up having them restore not only our front doors, but garage doors, shutters and corbels! Taking the front doors off and restoring them in a shop is the only way to do this! They color choice was beautiful. The project was completed on time as promised. "Johnny Nabors and crews started working on the home with an expected completion of 8 weeks. Many things cropped up to make the time line unattainable. The first thing, was an abandoned septic was located right in line with the pier line.  Johnny was there and he filled the hole and finished the pier and beam.  Then the rains came delaying progress, the changes that I had asked for were done without question and done right.  The metal roof on the home was totally re-done and when finished, a HUGE pecan tree in a neighbors yard split and fell onto the new roof during a wind storm.  Johnny was there and his crew carefully removed the branches and found no damage to the roof.  More changes were made and of course, time was consumed doing the new items.  All of this time, Johnny just went with the flow and did what we asked. He worked in conjunction with Bob Kyle Builders.  Kyle had his crew doing different things and they were awesome, getting the things done.  He came by almost everyday to check progress and if he saw something on the ground (trash, etc) he had it removed.  His crew came by in the mornings and cleaned the work area. 
Nabors had a really difficult time keeping up with the things we wanted changed and keeping with the time alotted for the project.  As it turns out, it took a while longer to complete the job.  His last project was a kitchen island on wheels.  WOW!  This was AWESOME.  The home owner is completely satisfied with the job and the costs.  Johnny Nabors and Bob Kyle did an awesome job and a super effort was put into the project to make it work. Both had some really good ideas to change some areas that made it work so much better. They worked to make things right, and their efforts and honesty are appreciated.

"Rocky was on time when he came out to survey the work I needed done. He offered suggestions on how to repair the rotted fascia and wooden beam area which led to a cost savings and did not require me to hire a roofer. He quickly provided me with an estimate. He was working on another job at the time, but kept me up to date on his schedule and when he'd be able to start my job. During the conduct of the work, Rocky was timely (he arrived and left at a reasonable hour), courteous, professional, innovative, meticulous, extremely neat (he cleaned up every day before he left), kept us informed on his schedule (i.e., he let us know if he was not coming usually because of rain), and gladly performed the additional tasks we added onto his plate. The overhangs/house extensions are 18-20 feet high, probably 30+ feet long, 10+ feet wide, are constructed of wood, and have six wooden beams that go from the front through the house and to the back. Rocky hand painted both the front and back overhangs with a brush on a ladder. Any cleaned up any paint that dripped onto the patio. The fascia and beam repairs were very close to the edge of the swimming pool and could not be easily reached with the ladder alone. Rocky built a platform that he extended over a portion of the pool, counter weighted it, and placed his ladder on the platform while he was doing the repairs and painting. When he was done with the work, he disassembled the platform and hauled it away. Rocky took down two old ceiling fans that we had over the back patio and hauled them away. He installed two new fans and get them set up and working. One of the fans would not work so he got on the phone with the technical support group for the fan manufacturer to try to see how to fix the issue. We ended up having him take down the one fan that would not work properly(which we returned) and then put up the new replacement fan. Once again, he made sure both fans were working before he moved onto another task, and he hauled away the boxes from both fans. Having had a lot of work done at the house over the past year, I was impressed with Rocky's neatness. He cleaned up every night, consolidating ladders, paint cans, tarps, and other materials into one inconspicuous location before he left. He did not leave any trash laying around the yard, hoses were recoiled, paint drippings were removed, and when he left we didn't find nails or screws or anything else laying on the ground. We have identified other tasks that need to be done both inside and outside the house, and while my husband could do them, his first response was to "Call Rocky. He'll do a better job than me". "Installation was great. No mess. Workers cleaned up after work was complete. Totally replaced a 14 yr old contractor A/C unit and compressor with a 17 SEER Ruud System. They also sealed leaky air ducts in the attic. They also supplied us with a compatible smart thermostat we can control remotely. And they assisted with the paperwork to apply for utility rebates. Financing was very affordable."
