They paid attention to all the architectural details when they installed the vinyl siding, so much so that many neighbors didn't realize it was vinyl siding. They also replaced all the windows and rebuilt the front porch. We have received so many compliments; they truly have exceeded my expectations. Their price was in line, or a little more than other contractors we got quotes from, but I doubt that the other contractors would have done as good a job; they offer a great value, plus they replaced all rotten wood without charging us extra, like the other contractors would have. On much of the rest of the roof there were small amounts of moss along the bottom edge of shingles, and there were patches in scattered places on the main part of the shingles. "We hired Mr. Scantling and his crew to redo the drywall on a floor to ceiling fireplace and rebuild a half wall previously done by an incompetent contractor and to repair/replace bulging splayed corner seams throughout the house. I was very nervous because we'd had such a bad experience with the previous contractor but Mr. Scantling and his men did excellent work and were very efficient. They finished the whole job in just under two days while being considerate of our schedules (my husband works from home). They didn't mind answering all my questions and were a very congenial crew. But the best part (for me) was that they truly did clean up after the job. This was one of the cleanest home repair/remodeling jobs we've had done in quite a while. "Suddenly Color did an excellent job and got all the work done in one week's time.  Gene is great to deal with and his crew was wonderful.  After 15+ years, each room had a decent amount of repair work to be done prior to painting since we are getting the house ready to sell in the spring, and it feels like a new house now. The crew even fixed a wall that another painter had done only 6 months ago that looked awful.  Sherwin Williams paint was used and we decided on the grade of paint ahead of time with him. All I had to do was text him the colors I selected and he bought the paint at his cost, passing the savings to us.  Any leftover paint was clearly labeled as to what room it was used in (since we had both flat and eggshell in the same colors).  I also really appreciated the clean up that the guys did each day before leaving.  They always got their shop vac out and made sure things were left as neat as possible.  We will definitely call Gene again to tackle any painting we have in the future.  Thank you Suddenly Color!!!
