"We recently had a Turtle Shell metal roof installed by Home Improvements USA. The process was very smooth and professional. Justin answered all of my questions promptly and followed up with me without being pushy. We had another high pressure salesman from another company that also manufactured and installed metal roofs, when I cut that guy loose he asked who we were going with and did not try to talk us out of the Turtle Shell product. During installation care was taken to protect the rest of our property from construction debris and the job site was left clean each day. They also did not rush through installation as I see many roofers do and instead took their time to do it right. During and after photos attached."

"He came out within about 2 hrs of me calling, which was great. He cleaned everything, replace freon, and advised me on how to handle future problems. The best thing was he did not try to sell me a new unit. All of my HVAC equipment in my house is older, and anytime I have had anyone else over for any reason they always try and sell me on new furnace/AC etc. He did not. "They came when they said they would and did what I needed. A tornado warning was in effect the evening after they poured the cement. They erected a tarp to keep rain off the new sidewalk. At eleven pm Adam came back to check that the tarp was holding despite the wicked wind. The project looks great!"

"THE GOOD   The interview went very well. I had a list of questions as to how the work would be performed and Mike answered the questions with confidence in every part of the job. After talking to him I felt comfortable believing the job would be done correctly.  We talked about materials and agreed on a price that was comparable to other bids. I told him I was not in a hurry. A different contractor said it would be 6 weeks so I guess in my mind I thought work would start in about that time frame. To be fair, Mike never gave me a start date.  This all happened in the middle of May.
 THE BAD   It took a week before we picked shingle brand and color and I paid an $8000 payment. 2 large pallets of materials arrived in the first week of June. The next communication with Mike was the last week of June with him saying the weather had slowed him down.The next contact was the middle of July. Mike said it would be a little longer. I contacted him again at the end of August and he said he was heading my way soon. I contacted him middle of Sept. and was told 2 weeks weather permitting. After 2 weeks Mike texted me saying it would be longer.  I replied with concerns about the material being on pallets in my yard for 4 months and gave him 3 weeks to start work or refund my payment minus material costs. He replied he had the permit and would start work the first week of Oct. Dumpster arrived on a Monday 8 days later. Some wood was dropped off on Friday. Work started the next Friday.
 MORE GOOD   Once the crew was here they did a great job. They protected my and the neighbors house during tear off and cleaned up every day. After tear off we discovered the addition roof tie in needed to be corrected which was outside the original bid. Mike rebuilt that and it looks and functions great. He did a lot of extras like disposing of some junk I had and putting some bolts in the front porch for a swing. He also partially roofed the playhouse to match the house(untill he ran out of shingles).I was very happy with the work.
MORE BAD  A week later I requested a paid in full invoice for taxes and the playhouse roof to be finished and Mike said he would take care of it.
It's been 7 weeks and still no invoice or finished roof on the playhouse.
FINAL WORD   If you want a quality job and have no time pressure then I recommend Mike. This was a 2 1/2 story hip roof and was not an easy job and took over 7 days to complete. That may have figured in to to delay. All in all it's been a roller coaster ride. He probably would have gotten here sooner if his Angies list A rating (and rightfully so in most cases) wouldn't have increased his business so much.
