"We are still waiting on the assessment report, so this review/rating is purely based on the assessment process.  Scheduling the initial appointment was a bit difficult; they are fairly busy, so we had to go a few months out to find a time that worked for both of us. They were extremely professional and proactive, sending us several questionnaires and brochures prior to the visit and answering several e-mails. The day of the assessment almost didn't happen because of bad weather; the analyst went into a ditch on the way in because of icy roads. However, she had her car towed, made it into the office and rescheduled for later that same afternoon once she'd picked up the company vehicle; they went out of their way to try and make the schedule work. Sarah, the assigned analyst, arrived on time for the rescheduled appointment and went through an overview of the process, then got to work inspecting everything. For a portion, she had us shadow her to give her an overview of our house and concerns/goals, then went off unassisted to check the attic, crawl spaces and take other measurements. Although she was working off an informal script/agenda, she would happily break to answer our questions or try to explain concepts to us. |Once she'd finished with all measurements, she set up the blower door test and then began walking through with us to show us heat gun measurements and look for drafts and other potential problems. |The bottom line is that we felt she was very personable and professional, had a ton of expertise and was able to explain all issues clearly. |We are now awaiting the written report and recommendations; I'll update a Part B: then; finally, we will take on some of the recommendations and see how their remediation team works out as well."
