ONLY DEGRUCHY MASONARY AND RESTORATION HAD A SOLUTION THAT WOULD EFFECTIVELY CLEAN THE STONE WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE. I ALSO NEEDED MORTAR WORK AND THEY WERE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT UTILIZED THE QUALITY TYPE OF MORTAR AS WAS ORIGINALLY USED IN BUILDING THE HOUSE. "I would only change one thing. We selected a River Bordeau granite. I would have had the river "flow" in a different direction on some of our countertops. I wish Cosmos had visualization software so that we could actually see how it would be laid out before it was cut. It looks fantastic! Don't get me wrong but it is Cosmos's vision and not ours. I would have liked to have more control via better visualization. Other than this, our experience with Cosmos was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, responsive and timely. <br /> <br />When getting countertops with a design, do be sure you fully understand how the stone will be cut and laid out. Do look for sales and special pricing, especially if you are interested in a high level stone. Do educate yourself on how granite is sold. Do check out Cosmos. You won't be disappointed."
