"Matt was professional, arrived on time, and gave a fair price for all work performed. He performed the entire job (dry wall installation, trim repair, and painting) himself. He communicated well throughout the process and was happy to explain any work he did. He says he won't do anything that he wouldn't do in his own home, and cares about the customer's happiness over getting the job done quick."

"I could not be happier with the final product! The first pic is the old bathroom from the 60s when the house was built. The rest are the final rebuild and it looks great. I would highly recommend VMK Remodeling for any project that you might have. I am also going to get a bid on redoing the deck on the back of the house as Vince's company does decks as well! Thanks to his great crew as well, great people to work with."

"On the scheduled date, Frank showed up in time with his tools. The shed was already ordered and he had studied the plans prior to coming ( at no cost to me). He dug the underground channel, made sure the building foundation was square and proceeded to assemble the shed. He asked me where I wanted the electrical outlet and placed them exactly where I wanted them without hesitation. I asked him to put together some extra watering buckets for my chickens.
All the work was completed to my satisfaction. He mentioned that he placed the right door handle backward but I didn't think it was worthwhile to place it correctly was the shed was just for my ducks.
At the end of the day, he cleaned up after himself."

"GREAT! Andy & Tony worked us in for our “emergency” repair. When we contacted them we were pretty desperate, as we had a neighbor party planned and a couple of the folks could not do stairs. Terri, Andy & Tony scheduled us in to their already booked schedule. SUPER Folks, kind, friendly, helpful AND GREAT work!"

"Outstanding work from start to finish. When Bryan came to the house to provide an estimate, I was glad to learn he would be one of the two persons painting my home since he seemed very easygoing and knowledgeable. Both Bryan and his colleague, Rick, clearly knew their stuff, and worked very efficiently together, completing the painting in less time than was originally stated. I liked that they took time to ensure no detail had been overlooked, and that the quality of their work was perfect. You hear a lot about successful people with "can-do" attitudes -- well, that seems a good way to characterize both Bryan and Rick. Both were extremely polite and accommodating to all of my requests. I will definitely call Butler Painting and Remodeling again for other painting or home projects, and have already recommended them to my friends and family."

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in House Springs, MO

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
