He knew right away the nuances of our situation having an older house with sewer, water, and gas lines very close together. He easily explained how he would approach the repair and the potential pitfalls that could occur and how each would be addressed.
After choosing to work with Eand B Wooley contacting Heath for the follow-up items on scheduling and additional questions was a breeze. Heath gave us an estimated work time and called 48 hours prior to re-confirm. He handled everything - the permits, materials etc.
The day of the repair Heath and the guys (John and Nick) showed up on-time and got to work right away. Within the minutes the trench was 6' deep. Within 3 hours they had replaced 13' of pipe, retrieved a broken snake left by the previous service company, back filled the trench, and had cleaned up the work area.
Heath and the guys were very friendly and easily answered all of my questions. It appeared that the three of them had a great rapport with each other and enjoyed their work.

"I called Matt on the recommendation of my realtor, to investigate some  overhead lighting that had never worked during the life of my house.  I also had some other minor issues - like the garbage disposal switch that never had a cover, and no standard cover would fit (small space under the sink).   Matt answered the phone himself and I booked him for Friday AM at 9. He was prompt and very friendly, cheerful and intelligent. He did a lot of work to investigate the nonfunctional lighting - the upshot was that I may need to have wires fished up the wall and I want to think about having that done.  If I decide to have it done, I will hire Matt to do it.
In the course of investigating the issue with the overhead lighting, a safety hazard was found - a previous electrician had connected the neutral wire to the ground screw. Matt explained clearly why that was dangerous and he installed a ground wire. I suggested that he investigate the other outlets that had been updated by that same person, and found that one outlet was not grounded at all. He switched that out for a 2-prong outlet; all the other outlets checked out OK (they were grounded properly).  He also created a cover for the garbage disposal switch by sawing down a standard switchplate.
He spent about 2 hours here and I feel very comfortable with his thoroughness and honesty, and the quality of his work. I was struck by a couple of endearing things - one was that he took a call from his mom (no one should ignore Mom call) - he did not talk long with her while he worked and politely told her he'd call her back - and the other was that when I specified a company that had done some electricial work in the house in the past (NOT the person who put in the unsafe outlet), he spoke well of them.  I appreciate the integrity of someone who doesn't malign his competitors. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt and will hire him again if I need electrical work done!

He cleared them and poured something in the drain that would eat away the roots. I couldn't use the drain for 4 hours. My receipt just has the total charged and no itemization. "Water was leaking onto our basement floor from a spot that appeared to be behind the foundation. We called Rooter Works in the morning and Alex arrived a few hours later. He determined that the main water line entering our house had a leak. He arranged everything needed to complete the repair, including the excavating company and scheduling the City of Columbus to approve the repair when it was completed. A couple days later, on a Friday afternoon, Brian with Discount Drains arrived with his back hoe and very carefully dug the hole needed to access the faulty water line. Alex and Brian repaired the line and answered all my questions. Our water to the house had to be turned off during the repair, but it was only off for a couple of hours. Later that day, after Alex and Brian had left, I discovered a dripping coming from one of the other water valves that was not part of the original repair. I texted Alex a photo of the dripping valve and he knew immediately what needed to be done. By then it was late Friday afternoon, but Alex went the extra mile and convinced a parts supply store to stay open long enough for him to get the part he needed to repair the valve. He would not leave until he was sure there were no drips. The following Monday the city inspector arrived to approve the repair and Brian filled in the hole. Later in the day, I saw dripping coming from the main water valve. Again, I texted Alex a photo of the dripping valve. He arrived back at our house in less than an hour and repaired the problem in about 15 minutes. Everything was bone dry after that and continues to be that way. Alex is the best, that's just all there is to it. Any more plumbing problems....I'm calling him. Even with the outstanding customer service, the repair was very reasonable. I would recommend Rooter Works to anyone. Superior in every way."
