"Seth arrived early Monday morning to fix a leaking and ice-covered recent model refrigerator freezer and check a microwave. He was knowledgeable, thorough, persistent in finding the cause of the problem, neat, helpful, and kind. He found and explained the problem, then fixed it completely (until or unless the same drain block happens again). It took some hard work and time but he was patient and efficient in getting it done. The microwave turned out to be an electrical issue but he explained the possible causes in an understandable way. I am very pleased with his work. $75 paid for service call through home appliance warranty company."

They had the new gas valve that was needed to bring the connection up to current code, had the city of MInneapolis permit all completed. Both men were very personable. They were much better than the office people I talked to prior...to set up appt. But all turned out great."

"I called them on a Sunday and said I didn't need an "emergency" appointment, but that I was trying to soak up a drip in the ceiling with fresh paper towels ever couple of hours and did they have an appointment soon? They said they could come over the next day. They gave me a 1PM to 3PM window on Monday, but not wanting to miss two hours of work in the middle of the day, I asked if they could call me at work (about five minutes away) when they were on their way over. They agreed, and I got the call at 2:20 the next day. I met the guy and showed him our drip. That was the whole repair, but after he made out the invoice and I signed it, he was nice enough to walk around the house with me and look at the outdoor plumbing I was concerned about and answer a couple of questions, free of charge. Not sure if I got the $30 Angies List discount or not. I mentioned it on the phone when I was scheduling it, but I didn't want to insist on a $30 discount on a $50 bill, so I didn't mention it again at the end. All in all, and very good experience."

"We were unaware of an extra-large build-up of lint in our dryer.  The lint eventually caught fire and we had a small fire inside our dryer.  Fortunately, the fire did not spread and nothing was damaged except for the dryer.  We called SOS to see if the dryer could be repaired -- we were thinking it would need to be replaced.  The technician came out, inspected the dryer and told us it could definitely be salvaged.  We were thrilled.  He worked on the dryer immediately, but had to schedule the vent cleaning a few days later.  However, we were not charged until the vent cleaning was completed.  SOS provided me with one of the best experiences I have had with a repair company.  I was thrilled with the end result!"
