"Great company to work with! I had been given recommendations not to go with the other local company so I went with B-Dry instead. They were easy to work with and even though the job I had done was expensive the price seemed very fair plus a warranty to back it up. They did an excellent job and even cleaned up afterwards. "<p>As with the previous poster, the main problem we had with FiveStone was communication. Ryan came out and estimated the job (and was very nice, according to my husband), and we sent a deposit of one-third. We were told they were coming Oct. 1, which was several weeks after the initial estimate. We had to call to find out they wouldn't be coming until Oct. 12 The job took parts of three or four days, but the frustration came in being told they were coming, and then not having them show up or call at all and having to track them down repeatedly over the course the week or so that they were on the job. I'm lucky I was home recovering from surgery, because if I had had to take off work to do this, I would had a tough time of it.</p> <p>The workers worked very hard while they were here, but came without some needed supplies and kept asking to borrow our things to do the work (tarps, cardboard, stepladder, box fan, turkey baster to put water in the crack, broom, vacuum, etc.), which also bothered me. They did go out and get plastic sheeting and rags. While they did tarp off the immediate area they were working on, they didn't cover anything else in the room; as a result, everything was completely covered with epoxy dust. They did ultimately clean a lot of it on the last day, but there's still a lot of cleaning for us to do. </p> <p>I'm frustrated because I found the workers nice and hardworking, as well as the staff in the office and I want to rate them higher. I kept hearing about a car accident or accidents people in their company had had as excuses why they were late or didn't have supplies or hadn't called when they promised they would. I'm truly sorry there were accidents, but I just wanted someone to be honest with me about the schedule and keep me up to date. I hope they can get this communication issue solved.</p> <br />"

"There was a cave-in at one location outside the foundation where they had put their equipment, and they came quickly to repair it. They did not clean up very well after themselves for the interior work, and they left cracked tile. They have not come back to look at the extra cracks."

Your crew was so kind and so professional and meticulous, that they knew that two particular windows were very important to my wife.  Your crew wanted to get them perfect and asked me some questions about them, that I could not answer. My wife was feeling better, but still in the hospital, and I called her on the phone, while your crew waited for me, as she and I discussed for several minutes the exact placement of the windows. Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly. Thank you for making the beginning our home building so easy and off to such a perfect start. There are so many things that can go wrong when redoing a home, and having it go off with such a perfect start gives us such great hope. "They dug and drilled seven holes, which stabalized the footings. Replace the concrete where the pillars were installed. The job went well and the crew was very professional through out the j. If I ever need this rvice again, they will be the first to be called."

"I emailed the company on Easter Sunday and they promptly responded the same day with a phone call to schedule an estimate. The following Tuesday workers arrived to do the estimate, in fact they were able to come earlier than plan after calling to see if it was OK. I approved the estimate, and they said they had time to do the job right away. After a quick trip to get parts, the work began. The guys showed me exactly what they were going to do, and what I would need to do in terms of some minor roof repair when they were finished. All 3 men were very professional and straight forward and I felt I paid a fair price for the job. <br />"

"I feel bad because this was one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. I think we had 3 different crews and they were all great. Here's my problem and it wouldn't cause me to not recommend them or use them again myself. From the time I signed the contract to the time the work was scheduled the salesman that I worked with either left or was terminated. When the crew got here they didn't seem to know what to do and asked me if I had planned to provide my own sump pump. One of them also told me that if I would just open the vents in my crawlspace it would dry out on it's own. This is against everything they recommend as I was sold on sealing the crawlspace and I'm glad I did. They have a system called and quot;Ice Guerdand quot; where they bury the discharge line from the pump and have a mechanism to keep it from freezing in the winter. The salesman showed me this and I was lead to believe I was getting it. The crew that came told me they would need another 350.00 to do that so instead I have a 12 foot pipe sticking out into my backyard. I expressed my disappointment on the exit survey and received a nice call from Bix telling me they would be back to install it no charge. Of course I was thrilled thinking this was above and beyond what most contractors would do. I was scheduled twice but had to be cancelled because of rain. I sent an e-mail a couple of months ago asking about it but did not receive a reply and I called a month ago and talked to a real nice lady who said someone would call to re-schedule. So far nothing. I'm a bit worried that If I have a warranty problem I'm going to get the same treatment. I even expressed interest in signing a service contract to have a yearly inspection but also did not receive a reply. Again, a good company that did a great job at a reasonable price. I just think maybe they have too much business to keep up with. <br />"
