I had already obtained 3 other quotes ranging from $14,300 to $16,470 and proceeded with Sergio's proposal. After signing, Sergio informed me later that day about additional issues found with the decking, which needed replacement. He stated that I needed an additional 800 square feet of decking which would cost $5,200. Talk about ?bait and switch? because now the project has increased to $20,000 instead of $14,910.00 originally quoted. I signed the revised agreement, as the work had already begun.
