"I interviewed 6 masons or companies. Some offered warranty - some did not. Some had proof of insurance - some did not. Some required full payment upfront -some did not. Some wrote quote on a napkin - some did not. Some took Credit Card - some did not. BRI did everything you should expect - Warranty, Proof of Insurance, a real, electronic based quote, credit card, and their price was mid-point. As far as work: First, they came on time. Second, they were thorough, detailed, and cleaned-up (albeit they never made a mess). Lastly and most important: They did it right. It was a very stress-free home maintenance project. "The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."
