"Top notch company. Returned my call right away. Job was scheduled in a timely manner. The electrician was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and worked quickly. Price for service is very reasonable. Electrician (Jake) went above and beyond. Overall, totally satisfied with the work. Will hire them again soon for some additional electrical upgrades."

"When it seemed that no other electrician in Colorado would pick up the phone, Abe did! He came out to our home as promised and worked diligently to find and repair the problem. Thanks very much!"

"We called on Saturday after finding the listing on craigslist and Jessie answered. He was very polite and professional and agreed to come out 11ish on Sunday. He arrived a little after 11 and introduced himself to both my husband and myself. He asked if we had drained the system in the basement and then hooked up his air compressor and blew out all of the zones multiple times to ensure that they were dry."

"After interviewing 8 different contractors Stonescapes was not only one of the lowest priced but I had a great feeling of their competence and professionalism. From the design and estimate with Sabrina to the really prompt and excellent work by her crews. I couldn't be happier with everything. Most comforting was the extra attention to detail they paid when it came to drainage. The only hiccup we had was in the electrical sub-contractor they hired to hook up the hot tub. The guy didn't show up when expected and performed work that was actually against code. I had to hire a new electrician to re-do the work. Sabrina and Stonescapes made it right though, so I have no complaints at all. After a few years the patio is still wonderful. In fact, when I move soon, I will be hiring them to do it all again."

"I was very impressed with Front Range Lighting and will be going there for all of my lighting needs. I needed a new ceiling fan. I tried going to Lamps Plus in Westminster but waited for ~10 minutes and no one came to help me. At Front Range Lighting, I sat down with one of the workers and explained my needs. She showed me a catalog of a wide range of ceiling fans and let me take the catalog home to decide. I came back to the store, ordered the fan, and picked out light fixtures. They recommended Enterprise Electric to install the fan and they did a great job.

Note that I did not shop based on price but based on selection and quality. I am not sure how the price of the items compare to other stores.

I'll be returning to Front Range Electric next time I need a new light fixture for my house (there is also the cutest dog that works there)."

"Rick quoted me a very fair price and I hired them. A crew of 2 showed up and were very professional and worked efficiently. They also did not complain at all about a few little things I needed checked on the work they did. The biggest compliment is I actually had a fan that didnt work correctly and they were nice enough to stay an extra hour and replace it with a new fan I bought on the spot. I was really happy with the work. The price came in higher than expected due to extra crew member, however Rick was very stand up and honored the price he quoted me for hourly work. I will definitely use again for electrical work in the future."

"He's a really nice guy. He was worth what I paid them. He is much more punctual than I am. I left my vacuum there for 5 months and he kept it for me. He is a real patient guy. He is easy to get to but he's a long way from me. The vacuum repair was $135 because he has to replace the reel. The sewing machine was $79. He was not pushy and he didn't try to push me to buy something. He told me I had a good machine and I liked him. He used to work on Singer sewing machines. I like his website. He said he's been working on sewing machines for 35 years. He explained my vacuum to me. He is very professional. It is a little hole in the wall place but it was easy to get to. He has a guy working for me and they know what they are doing."

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Idaho Springs, CO

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
