"We have a patio area with a translucent roof and wanted to have more protection to be able to area in cooler weather. The roof has a slope so a triangular shaped transom was also necessary above the curtain rods. The estimator created a design and recommended hardware. In addition to the curtains, Acme created and installed 2 awnings. We visited the showroom / factory to choose our fabric and were very impressed with their work on display. During installation one of the transoms did not quite fit and it was very quickly remade and installed. Everyone we met at the company was courteous and professional. "Our project was a complete installation of Hardie Board siding on our house, sheds and a patio cover replacement. We originally had one half of the house covered in vinyl siding and one half in stucco. The old metal patio cover was from the 60's. GVD's siding crew were craftsmen that expertly installed siding, trimmed and painted that trim on the house and our two sheds, built a special door for the cover of the water heater cabinet, trimmed out the front door eave and pole hiding some sprinkler wires that had long been an eyesore, and took the time to make sure that everything was lined up and perfect. We have an old house that had many issues that GVD patiently overcame without sacrificing quality. We also worked on reducing outside cabling and wiring so that the new siding look is clean. They saved our Leaf Guard gutters and reinstalled them. GVD put up with my questions and concerns along with way. We were so pleased with this engagement that we have signed up with GVD for two follow-on projects."

"Over all my expierance was less than satisfactory. Most of it is due to poor communication and misunderstanding. The sales person had a difficult time understanding what I wanted and also had a terrible time communicating with me and the installation dept. The installers arrived without any plans and of course did an excellent job of installing the patio wrong. The inspector never came out to instpect the installation. I call the company and complained I was not happy with the job. The inspector came out 3 days later, agreed with me the installation was not done as agreed to. The company did redo the installation ASAP. <br /> I also ordered Elitewood window awnings and even gave the salesman pictures of what I wanted. He got back to me with estimates of window awnings made of canvas, which was not what I wanted. No one has come out to measure the window and I still do not have the window awnings. Needless to say, I will purchase the awnings from someone else. <br /> I am happy with the final product (patio cover only) even though I am not happy with thier sales staff. This is a company I will not do any return bussiness with nor will I recommended them to any of my friends. <br /> Elitewood patio covers and awnings can be purchased from other vendors. <br />"

"I had an excellent experience with Evolve Construction. When I moved into my new home, I knew the bathroom needed to be redone. The walls in the shower were soft and falling apart, the sink and toilet leaked, and the layout was off. I called Evolve Construction for an estimate. This is my first home purchase and my first remodel and Evolve's team was extremely patient with me. The actual project was a complete gut. The crew showed up on time the first day and was responsive and communicative throughout the whole project. Evolve Construction made my bathroom look amazing. "When we discovered that we had an urgent need to replace a leaking sliding patio door, I sent contact inquiries to several contractors. The first response came from the office at Green Bay Remodeling. After gathering some information about my project an appointment was scheduled for an evening visit to inspect the project site and advise me on options for the rep[air of the water damage. Danny Lebowsky arrived precisely on time for our meeting and listened carefully as I described the water damage which appeared to be caused by a leak in the sliding door. While we had originally thought of the project as a replacement for the slider, as I talked with Danny I came to realize that a better option would be to erect a wall with a window and pet door. This made perfect sense due to a close-by door opening to the same deck which was outside the slider. Working together, Danny and I developed a scope of work which included a plan to repair subfloor and any structure that was water damaged. The plan was designed to cause the least damage to the existing plank flooring. Our discussion evolved into a contract which listed each item of work and the payment benchmarks. Danny assured me that he would serve as project manager and that work would be continuous once all materials were available. That night I knew that I had found my contractor. Danny provided regular updates on job scheduling while we waited for the delivery of the window. Work on the wall began a few days before the arrival of the window. The crew would arrive every day as scheduled and I watched as they completed their quality work. I was so pleased that I worked with Danny to add two additional projects which would run consecutively: new accent molding around windows and the garage door followed by repainting the full exterior of the house. Again I was very pleased by the craftsmanship of everyone who worked on the project. Danny either visited the site daily or called to give me updates. We are very pleased with the final result of all aspects of the three projects and would gladly have the Green Bay team work with us again."

"From the first visit we could tell that Crow was excited about the project and could envision it pretty much exactly like we could.  The west side of our house was crying out for a deck! We are not designers and so we put our ideas out there and Crow ran with them.  We knew that working with the city of Berkeley would be tricky but Crow was a pro.  Plans had to be changed and edited often but he kept up in the loop everyday.  He arrived at our house everyday at 8am on the dot, or called to say that he was at a store or permit office, etc and what he was doing and why.  There was never any question as to what his intentions were.  The house is older (1928) and so inevitably issues arose which delayed the deck but Crow was nothing but professional and understanding of our budget. <br /> Crow is friendly, funny, professional, punctual, and caring. I would recommend him for all your household remodeling and updating needs. <br />"
