Most of the back half of the roof metal had to be replaced due to removing the framework that held the solar panels. His crew removed the damaged metal from the roof starting in the afternoon and returned the next morning and finished all repairs in the early afternoon. They cleaned up the work area each day and left everything neat and orderly. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and efficient. It was a pleasure to have them do the work. Solarshield had originally installed the roof in 2005. His crew at that time was equally professional and great to work with."

"I hired the provider through one of the Angie's List deals, i.e. $39 for two hours of plumber's labor.  When I first contacted him, I told him to pick up one of the Home Depot complete toilet repair kits which are about $20 - $25 for all the parts inside the toilet.  This was't the first time one of my toilets have needed repair in the past 35 years in my home.  It is nearly impossible to replace one part in an old toilet.  First, it is often difficult to identify the failing part, and second, a new part almost never works well with the other much older parts.  Besides replacing all the parts is generally easier that replacing only one.
Anyway, when I asked him to pick up a complete replacement kit, he agreed.  However, when he arrived, he didn't have it.  He looked at the toilet and decided that all it needed was a flapper, which is about $5 at Home Depot.  He replaced the flapper and charged me about $20.  Another practice of the provider is steep parts markup.  He left.  Soon after the toilet started running again.  I called him, and to his credit, he came back for free.  This time he replaced another two parts for about $50 -- that's $15 at Home Depot plus his markup.  He left again.  Again, it started running.  The last time he came, he discovered that the handle was too loose or tight (I don't remember which) and adjusted it for free.  Finally!  
My lesson was don't hire people who price a job too low.  They will make up for it somewhere else.
Finally, I would not have written this review if Angie's List had not annoyed me so much asking for a review. They asked me every time i logged in for 1 1/2 years.  Perhaps it would not have been quite as harsh, either.  It's hard to say at whom I am the maddest. Regardless, I will NEVER hire anyone through Angie's List again.  I'll work with the providers directly and keep Angie's List out of it.
By the way, last week, I asked Angie's List to stop pestering me for a review.  I received this in their response: "I have also marked your account that you do not wish to review the provider. "  When I logged in today, Angie's List asked me again, so I gave up and wrote the review.

"             We called the company  (AAA Construction  Restoration Services) to repair a leak in our roof. John Walters responded immediately and made an appointment to come to our home the next day. He was on time , looked over the situation and gave us an estimate by text.!  We agreed and the very next morning , on time as promised, several men showed up and began working right away.  They were very hard working, no goofing around, and repaired the problem . They even painted an area where there was damage (which was not even in the estimate) They also cleaned up everything and hauled away any debris.
           Having previously dealt unhappily  with Miami construction companies, I was very happily surprised and pleased with all aspects of the way AAA dealt with me.  They were ON TIME,  EFFICIENT, REASONABLE and DID  A GREAT JOB.  I would recommend them  to anyone with a similar need
