The tiled shower transformed the shower experience, brought spaciousness to a small room, and was done by an accommodating and experienced crew. The project manager expedited the schedule, committing to a start date of February 20 but beginning the work a month earlier and finishing by February 28, 2023. He brought tile and carpet samples to the house, that both followed the earth tones in our home and created a light pattern-rich tiled shower. Our disruption and moving of personal items was minimized as the painting was done in four days and was followed three days later by a one-day carpet installation. Overall, this remodeling brought us upgrades that we already enjoy, a month of amicable and focused contractors, and efficient planning and execution by Modern Home Remodeling and its subcontractors. "He's worked for us for a number of years. He consistently cleans up and mows a steep slope we have in the back. He's also worked on a few hardscape projects. He's worked on the sprinkler system, put in a stucco retaining wall, installed a paver boundary for the grass. He also does landscape lighting! I honestly don't call anybody else for my landscaping work. He's an versatile problem solver, and overall, does excellent work."

"The work started on 9/3/2015. They would make appointments and not show up.  They would show up for a while and then I wouldn't see them for a week. That occurred throughout the job. They would only work on my job for a couple of days at a time. I had to keep calling them to get them to come out. On 9/28, I called them at around 11 as they were supposed to be here that morning with a full crew. They ended up sending out a skeleton crew. Their foreman quit in the middle of the job. The second foreman was unavailable 90% of time I would try to reach him. The owner eventually came out. They tied the drain on my deck into the drain in my front yard. This ended up overloading the drain in my front yard. Their trucks leaked oil on my driveway. After the job was done the project manager said that he would send someone out to clean up the oil. No one has ever shown up. They're overbooked. Be prepared to have an unnecessarily drawn out project. They finished on 10/21/2015. They're due to come back in January to put more joint sand around the pavers."

"Ali drew a master plan for the back and side remodeling at the beginning of our project. We were so pleased with Ali and RES construction, that we also had the company redo our front yard as well! The results are beautiful and we have had many complements from the neighbors on the new design and on the professionalism of the team. For any questions we had about any of the work, Ali always called back the same day and was always pleasant and very competent in his work. His team was on time and always here when they were scheduled. Ali's foreman was present at our house for all the days the work progressed and Ali was available by phone and visited the project frequently."

When the amount of removals and replacement parts exceeded the original estimate I was notified promptly for approval. The overall price was fair and the quality of the work excellent, given that this was the repair of an existing fence rather than installation of all new fencing. I'd hire TLC again."
