So what they offered at that time was anyone you referred to if they chose to use their service, you have $500 cash payment which was really nice because half of our neighbors and our family members used them. I do not know what they do now, but it is a really nice service because they are a very good company. They did a great job."

"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. "It’s been a while that I wanted to have a company that can come over and check the house for any problems that increased my monthly bills and to fix them at a normal price. I came across this company and I scheduled a meeting with Ezra and Charlie to come over and see/check. Ezra and Charlie checked the house for more than 2 hours and they found out that some of the windows were old and needed to be replaced with new ones. In addition to that, they recommended me to remove the water heater and to install a tankless system that will provide me with hot water only when I need and by having that, my bills will be reduced.The Quote that I got from him was good enough (to my opinion) and I retained them for the job. The work that they did proved to be good one and I see that in my monthly bills. It was a 2 weeks work and I am completely happy with my decision to hire them."

Again, my experience was virtually identical to the review from 11/23/2011.  I had to do almost nothing.  Solaire handled all the paperwork.  All I had to do was read and sign what they prepared.  They emailed me forms when I needed to sign them.  I printed them, signed them, scanned them and emailed them back.  They also set up all appointments for inspections and kept me informed as to when they would need me to be at the house.
When the modules arrived from the manufacturer, they called and scheduled an installation date.  I was lucky in that they had a cancellation and they were able to start within a week.  On Monday 6/25, when they showed up, Jake, the foreman, explained what would be happening for the next two days.  In a nutshell, they installed all the panels on Monday and did all the wiring and electrical connections on Tuesday.  The city code inspector came Wednesday and now I'm just waiting for SDG&E to inspect and give their approval to turn on the system.
As a side note, I'd like to explain why I gave a B for Price.  I am very happy with the price I paid because I got the best modules at a pretty good price, the value I got was very good.  But there are cheaper systems out there.  If the category had been Value, I would have given an A, but since it was Price, I had to give a B."

"They had to come out 4 times. The first water heater started leaking after 6 months. It was replaced. The second water heater also started leaking after 6 months. I contacted the manufacturer and they recommended a thermal expansion tank be installed. It was not installed the first or second time the water heaters were installed. I did have to pay a re installation fee. I picked up the 3rd water heater myself and they gave me natural gas water heater instead of propane. The fourth attempt they finally got it right and so far the water heater has worked after 7 months. The guy was very responsive as far as my calls and issues. He came out whenever I needed. Unfortunately, the entire experience was just a train wreck."
