"Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

His team showed up on time and immediately covered every piece of furniture and accessories with plastic. They also completely isolated the work area with a plastic curtain. "The entire process was very professional. The sales agent came out in April and gave us an estimate and we signed a contract with him a couple months later. The door and custom transom took approximately 8 weeks, which was a little longer than we anticipated, but it was well worth the wait. My husband and I are both happy. "Install went great. We love our new door. The installers took the time to do it right. They removed the original door without making a big mess or just "banging it out" it was removed smartly to not damage anything that was supposed to remain. They then assessed what they had to work with and built up where needed to make the install of the new door as secure as possible. The new door went in smoothly and looks fantastic. Al throughout the install they would answer any question I had or my children had. They also took care to make sure the alarm wires and doorbell cam were protected from harm during the install and that they worked as expected when done. "Tom Barkocy very patiently and clearly explained various skylight options, including installing one or more skylights that could be opened and closed using solar power. We oped for eight new skylights, including one in a bathroom that opens and closes using solar power. He also improved our existing skylight tunnels. Tom, as well as Pete who assisted him with the installation, were professional, responsive, and quick to respond creatively and well when a couple unanticipated issues arose. It was a pleasure to work with Tom and I just wish he did more than skylights so I could hire him for other projects."
