"Used Admiral once before for a Washer issue and was very satisfied. So when I had another leak issue with the same unit, I didn't hesitate to call them again. The co-owner came on time and replaced the leaking water intake valve with a new one. Unfortunately, the new valve was defective and didn't fill the tub. He tech could not find another replacement part as the machine is 40+ years old. However, a few days later he came up with a solution to the problem and returned. He came on his regular day off because I needed the washer for the weekend. He took his time fixing the initial problem and doing several other adjustments to make sure thing were done right. He even fixed the washer cabinet that had come loose ovewr time. Bottom line is the washer works fine and looks almost new again. And the price was as origianlly quoted and was very reasonable. I recommend their service highly."

They gave me two options — a full door replacement (which is standard for Miele) or a cheaper repair option. I chose the repair, and it saved me a lot of money. "Rustum at edgewater appliances was very responsive and professional. My refrigerator broke all of a sudden and he came over within an hour of calling him. Unfortunately he had to come over couple of more times over next few days as the issue kept recurring, but he was always professional and responsive which I think is important. In the end, I bought a new refrigerator so overall spent more money trying to fix it, so I would have expected their recommendation to buy a new one on the first visit (instead of spending almost 70% of what a new one costs). But I dont think he or anyone else can ever be sure of what it will cost to fix am appliance. Overall, I will call him again, but I will ensure that the cost of repair vs new one is clearly articulated in the beginning and what would be the refund criteria if the problem is not fixed."
