"They were very professional and kept us informed during every step of the process. Installation crew was great, very courteous, and worked together like a well oiled machine. The patio enclosure is exactly as we ordered and looks great. We're extremely pleased."

"From the first phone call to the last day, this contractor was more professional by far than any I've ever worked with. Communication was excellent. A quote was given on paper with full details written out on what work would be performed and any guarantees, and there were no surprise charges. It also happened to be the lowest quote we received, making this decision a no-brainer. I was astounded how fast they worked. We have a very large roof, and he estimated it would take 4 days to do (although the average-sized roof can be done in 1). Well, his crew had it done in 2 1/2! They arrived on time at 7 am each morning, cleaned as they went, and left around 3 pm each day. Even our neighbors came over to comment on how fast they went, and how wonderful the new roof looks! 5 stars all the way... hire these guys!"

"John was a fantastic contractor. He was punctual, responsive and adaptive. His work was accurate and high quality. John made sure to always clean up after he was done. For our job, his bid was extremely reasonable and lower than other contractors. The best part was that he completed our projector UNDER the original quoted price. We will definitely be using John for any major construction and renovation needs and will highly recommend him to family and friends."

"Installed windows when it was freezing cold out & they were so efficient my thermostat only went from 70 degrees to 69. When they left you never knew they were here, the cleanup was done extremely well & they even took a magnet over my landscaping & driveway to pick up stray nails. The costs to heat & cool my house got cut almost in half. The locks are awesome, never seen anything like it on a window & what they didn't tell me was that I can no longer hear the traffic from the main road. My door & sliding glass door came next & they are way warmer than my previous doors & beautiful. The door carpenter was very meticulous & you couldn't get a better installation. Definitely had a much better experience than when I've used other contractors! I'm looking forward to my next project with Integrity."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Johnstown, PA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
