"in late march i contacted the store by phone. was encouraged to come in and view samples. i was allowed to take several books home to help me choose the correct fabric(which is very nice). the staff are not very involved in this process, you are pretty much on your own. when i chose a fabric(a week later), they were helpful in determining how much fabric to buy. they never saw the piece. we determined yardage by drawing and measurements. they do accept credit cards and do not charge the card until work is done. i was then placed on a list. they estimated 2-3 month wait to get started. i called at 2 months, was told it would be another month. i called again at 3 months. again, told it would be another month or so. at months five i was finally called. they were ready. i delivered my chair to them within 3days. it only took 2.5 weeks to do the job. was called and we set up a delivery date. that happened within a week. i was never told why such an extended period of time to get to my order. once they got started it took only a couple of weeks. the quality is good. i really like the fabric i chose. unfortunately, i could have purchased a whole new loveseat for what it cost to redo this one. i had originally thought i could have decreased the cost by providing my own fabric, but they charge a very large cutting fee per yard to use outside fabric. i was credited for the 2 extra yards of fabric that was ordered but not used. that was nice. the whole interaction was fine except for the very long wait and the minimal communication."

"I was given an appointment window between 4 -6:30 PM. David arrived shortly after 4 and in a matter of minutes had the recliner completely taken apart. He removed the broken springs and clips and replaced them with furniture webbing, put the chair back together, and left the floor cleaner than it was before he started. All in slightly more than an hour. Who says Doctors don't make house calls? These guys do the work in your home so no trying to move bulky furniture out the door and into the truck you rented or borrowed, then waiting weeks for it to be fixed, then wrestled back through your front door. "Mr. Chris has been our upholsterer since 1975. His work has always been excellent. I was trying to decide whether to replace my recliners, or reupholster them. After pricing new recliners, I realized I could get both of my chairs done for the price of one new chair. Mr. Chris helped me choose beautiful remnant fabric that was much less expensive than ordering new fabric. His men came the next day to take the first chair, and were kind enough to move another heavy chair upstairs to my bedroom, and bring down the recliner from the bedroom to the first floor. The work was done quickly, and the result was gorgeous. I had some discomfort in my back, as the chair was 20 years old and had been very comfortable. Mr. Chris took the chair back and re-did the stuffing, and now it is comfortable again. He did the second chair, and it is very comfortable also. Mr. Chris also made me several beautiful pillows without additional charge. I am thrilled with my "new" old chairs."

"We have an expensive sofa with microfiber cushion covers and high density foam fill that was urinated on by cats. Of course, the cushions smelled horribly. The owner, Lamont, came to our home and we discussed re-upholstering the cushions. He thought he might be able to get rid of the odor and suggested we let him try. He took the cushions on a Thursday and returned them 6 days later. The cushions are considerably better, almost all the odor is gone, something we could not do with steam cleaning or other methods. He is an incredibly nice gentleman and provided a service that we had all but given up hope. His price was very fair. We would be happy to use his services again. <br />"

"I have used T-n-T Refinishing for 2 projects in the past year and have been extremely pleased with the quality of work done, turnaround time and price. I had a bad experience with another refinishing company in the past and was hesitate to try another. When I took my table to T-n-T's place of business, I asked to see other work that they had done. David was very patient in showing and explaining projects that were in his shop and I decided to have him do my table. We were extremely pleased with the final product and, as a result, decided to have him refinish an antique piano also. We will not hesitate to take other projects to David and highly recommend to others. The cost for the table was $250 and the piano was $1700."
