Tim Boudrean, the crew leader on the wall project, took time to explain the whole process of putting up carbon fiber wall supports. The agreement I signed stated I must prepare the basement so they would have access to the wall. It was difficult for me because we have a bathroom against part of the wall. I was afraid the bathroom would be destroyed, so I measured the distances that was needed between the carbon braces. (a lot of Youtube research) I figured that the only part of the bathroom affected would be the sink. The sales rep disagreed and said the shower had to be taken out. I gave in and had the shower taken out. The installation crew actually placed the braces almost exactly where I had marked. The shower did not have to be removed. Mid American Basement should have sent an installer instead of a sales rep to verify the placements. It cost me extra to have the shower removed and will cost more to repair the tear down."
