The repair option was less expensive, though not guaranteed to resolve the issue - as a few different things could be the root cause and it may need replaced entirely. I chose to repair it, and thankfully it resolved the issue at very little cost. Grateful to KC Metro Plumbing for following up with us on our inquiry so quickly, and coming out the next day (before freezing temp's outside were forecasted to arrive just 2 days later). "We are long-time Anthony’s customers and are on their ASAP plan. We had a list of several electrical projects we needed done: (1) a bedroom wall switch replaced (2) 2 lights added to our basement (3) a kitchen fluorescent fixture re-wired to accept LED lighting (4) a bathroom fan replaced and (5) an outlet with a dedicated circuit installed in our garage for the control box of a sprinkler system. The team of Todd and Tyler arrived at our house at the appointed time and got right to work. All of the work was done very professionally and we are very happy with the result. They were actually able to replace the motor in the old bathroom fan, which was less expensive than replacing the entire fan, and that was fine with us! The invoice was very clear about what work was done and we got a nice discount because we are ASAP members. We have also used Anthony’s for HVAC and plumbing work and are always very satisfied with the work and the professionalism of the Anthony’s employees."

"Very professional. Know what they are doing. Took time to explain every step of the process. Took many pictures. Experienced in working with insurance companies. Kept me informed all the way through the process. Replaced a broken line in the laundry room floor. Had to jack hammer up the concrete, hand dig, and replace pipe, then finish by replacing concrete on floor. They arrived at 9am and were finished by 1pm. The cost did not increase because of the extra effort that was involved due to the drain pipe being only inches away from the water supply line. All of the people involved, from the office to the plumbers to the owner are just great people. Do not hesitate to call them for any plumbing issues, large or small. Thank you, Sewer Surgeon."

"I had the need to replace an outside spigot that had split due to freezing. LJ gave me a call at 11:30 to set up an appointment. Kyle was out at 2 pm and was finished by 3 pm. He did excellent work and the replacement spigot works perfectly! KC Metro Plumbing was less than half the bid I had received earlier in the day, and they had it replaced in the same day! Will definitely be calling them again for future plumbing needs!"

"The repair and paint project went well. Chris, the field supervisor gave the original estimate. Chris did the dry repair and supervised the project. He communicated well, called ahead to let me know of exact arrival time and arrived on time. The paint staff, Tony and Kyle were on time, communicated well. All staff adapted to slight changes to the repair and paint project and a few extras for a fair price. Finished the project with extras on time. One extra service was install an exterior security light which included a second try as the 1st light fixture I bought did not fit, a second light fixture was quickly installed. Very good quality work at a good price. I highly recommend and plan to use again, indeed may be my first contact / estimate on any new house projects. Also, Holly in the office was available to answer questions and when I requested proof of their insurance and it was quickly e-mailed to me."

"I had the owner Jacob over to the house on more than one occasion. He changed out my blower motor on my central air. He fixed my hot water heater on 2 separate occasions. He did a service call on my outside unit got it all cleaned up and functioning properly. Jake has came to the rescue when I clipped my thermostat wire with my weed eater. He installed a complete unit top to bottom including new line sets and proper wiring at a rental house for my sister. I highly recommend this company."
