"It was a pleasure to work with Britescape for our home exterior lighting design and installation. Everything went extremely smoothly, and the staff was very professional. The price overall was a bit high, but the professionalism, high quality products and excellent service made it worthwhile. I worked with Robert to design the plan for our house. He had great ideas and worked with me to adjust as necessary to fit within my budget. The team of 3 that installed the lighting took great care to not disturb our existing landscaping, removed the old lighting and cleaned up everything when they left. Our project was mostly installed in one day, but they had me review what it looked like at night, and then came back the next morning to complete the job and make any adjustments. "It went really well. Even though they'd had most of their tools stolen from their truck last night, they showed up on time and were very pleasant. Three guys showed - they were training. But the price remained the same. Actually, they gave me a break on the price because it didn't take a long to find/resolve the problem as they'd expected. Dave had me demonstrate the problem and, looking around, identified what he thought might be the culprit. He was right. While his team was investigating, he installed some really high light bulbs for me. Together, they removed some problem light fixtures from the circuit which fixed the immediate problem. (Those light fixtures are outdoors, not well protected from the elements, and 20 years old. And not installed by him or his company. They had every right to fail and it's not his fault.) Dave noticed they were tracking in leaves as they and insisted on sweeping up after they were done even though those were not the only leaves that were in my foyer."

"Our bedroom heat was powered by an old electric wall heater, and it wasn't doing the job anymore. It would blast heat at random intervals, and the heat didn't permeate the room very well. Our room was freezing when the heater was off or not blasting. I first had a heating company come take a look, and they told me I would need an electrician to do the job. They recommended Queen Anne Electric. <br /> Justin from Queen Anne Electric came out and recommended a $500 Convectair radiant wall panel to improve our heat situation. The work was scheduled for 2 weeks later. We are very happy with what he recommended--the panel is great and spreads the heat without blasting, and has an accurate thermostat. QAE did other odds an end while here, including installing some light fixtures and fixing a couple of odd timer switches and replacing them with regular switches. The total bill for this first visit was $1,465, including the cost of the radiant panel. They were here about one day. <br /> We were very happy with Justin's knowledge and the skill and speed of the electricians who were on site. So, we had them back to install an overhead light in the living room of our old tudor house (our LR had no overhead lighting at all prior to this). I was a little nervous because the walls are lath and plaster--other contractors weren't sure at all that we could run wiring without destroying the plaster. Justin said they could run the wiring by making just a few holes instead of trenching the entire wall and ceiling. The work was scheduled for about 2 weeks later. They did a great job, making only four smallish holes that our house painter was easily able to patch. While here, QAE also installed several light fixtures and did some other odds and ends. This took about one day and the cost was $907. <br /> The only reason I gave a "B" for responsiveness is sometimes I had to email a couple of times to get answers to questions before the work began. I think this is simply because they are busy. My experience is that good electricians are extremely busy, moreso than any other kind of contractor. Overall they were very organized with appointment times, estimating, and invoicing. <br /> <br />"
