"While I was happy with their work and the final product, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and follow up. I was stood up several times without any one contacting me to let me know they weren’t showing. Totally frustrated I wanted to speak with the owner or at least the manager to let them know. I called and specifically asked for either one. I was told he was unavailable but was assured he would call me back. Needless to say I never heard from him. After spending $43000, the courtesy of a return call would have been appreciated."

"The concern on this warehouse roof was a drumming sound during high winds rather than interior water. From above, the mechanically attached TPO membrane appeared intact, and seam probing found no open welds. Observation during windy conditions showed excessive movement concentrated along one exterior wall. Test openings confirmed that field fasteners remained secure. Air was entering through unsealed deck flutes and gaps at the wall-to-roof transition, increasing pressure beneath the membrane. The alternatives were full replacement or a targeted correction based on an engineered attachment review. Because the existing roof was dry and had substantial service life remaining, the owner selected the localized work. The perimeter membrane was opened in controlled sections, the air paths were sealed, and additional perimeter securement was installed according to the approved layout. Warehouse aisles below stayed open except directly beneath each active area."

"Jose from Santamaria Roofing proved to be a true gentleman, he kept his word and his contract by showing up when he said he would, doing an amazing job, leaving my home looking better then it did at the start and took all trash & garbage with him. I had Santamaria do gutters on 2 houses, flashing on my chimney, as well as replace some pitted aluminum trim on my home. I will be having him back in the fall to redo more of my aluminum trim. He showed up with 7 guys and they all went straight to the project I guess was assigned before they arrived. Great crew, under a great boss! The most amazing thing was for someone so professional to have underbid by 30% the next bid and still come and do quality installations. Pete Petrochilos and his entire team were extremely professional and the workmanship was superb.  They came when they said they would come and cleaned up after they finished their work each day.  They were polite and dedicated.  Pete was a real gentleman and kept his word on everything that he promised.  If there was a concern, he answered his phone, no matter what the hour and resolved every situation to my complete satisfaction.  His business ethics are of the highest standard and truly unheard of in todays marketplace.  I would recommend him highly to anyone who is looking to have high quality work done without worry or frustration and with the added knowledge that he backs up all his work.  Although his price may have been a bit higher than some, the materials he used, including the insulation, gutters, siding etc. were of the best quality and warranted the very slightly higher cost.  He did a beautiful job!  I have a friend who is extremely knowledgeable and very discerning.   He has already had commented on the flawlessness of Pete's work and now want to use him as well.

Addendum: I had a question a year later about a section of the siding on the upstairs deck.  He drove out to my house in the heat and heavy beach traffic (about an hour) and explained to me why it had been done the way it was done (correctly, I might add).  He wouldn't even take a dime for his trouble.  This is just the kind of service and consideration that can be expected of him.
