"AVSTEP was great to work with, the team started earlier than expected and completely fixed my foundation, not only with replacement block and cement, but added two different types of waterproofing as well. When additional wood rot was found on top of the foundation, they were able to repair that as well without adding more time to the project. "Scott and his team did a terrific job. My deck looks infinitely better than it did and it is more structurally sound now than before. He replaced all the decking on the first floor deck, adding a new addition to the deck and completely renovated a screened-in porch. They removed a floating deck on the upstairs deck and resurfaced the underlying fiberglass deck adding new railings. Scott was present throughout the job with his team (3 people). With this job there were little changes that I wanted made and Scott and the team were extremely accommodating and receptive. "Sal amazed us. Hiring contractors is funny business. If you have an older home, you have probably had mixed experiences. Certainly everyone has heard, or experienced, a horror story. We've wanted to finish our attic and make an office for quite a while, and had a few false starts. I went to Angi's, quite honestly, out of desperation. Entered a description of work needed - didn't need to join - GREAT INTERFACE ANJI! Sal called me shortly after I posted, came over quickly, was great and understood our needs, so we hired him. Here's where the amazing things started happening. Sal shows up, on time and with the nicest crew. We can immediately tell we are in good hands. I talk to my wife, and we agree to ask Sal about several other issues around the house; rotting deck stairs, mold damage in the foyer from old leak, small plumbing headaches. Sal takes a look, says no problem, and gives us a good number. Now we not only have the attic space of my wife's dreams, but we can go into the holiday with ALL work done (understand we met Sal around Thanksgiving, and he did a lot of work.) "I hired Horatio for a total renovation of a condo unit. He met me a the unit the day i contacted him ,and provided a quotation which never increased or changed. Project consisted of bathroom & kitchen renovation (new shower, vanity, kitchen cabinets, etc.), hardwood floors, popcorn ceiling removal, patching and painting. Horatio and his skilled team were exceptional. Very professional, and overall did a great job.
