After we came to a mutual agreement, I appreciated the way he structured our contract to include progress payments based on the completion of various work phases and not on specific dates. He remodeled my kitchen by performing many tasks such as tearing out the old kitchen; installing new flooring, cabinets; LED can lights, a new garbage disposal, an over-the-range microwave oven, and backsplash; building floating shelves; relocating a ceiling fan; and re-connecting all appliances. When challenges arose because of a faulty design by another firm, Rob was quick to provide thoughtful alternative methods to overcome the design flaws. He worked diligently throughout the process, rarely stopping to eat lunch. Finally, when the work was completed, Rob did a fantastic job of removing machine dust from the exterior of the cabinets, the backsplash, large appliances, and the flooring. The kitchen was so gleaming and beautiful that I didn’t want to use it for a few days. All discarded cabinet boxes and other debris were removed in an orderly manner. "Coldstream did a beautiful job remodeling my 80+ year old garage. My garage was in need of a new custom size door and framing to hang the door, as well as, framing around the door. Marty suggested installing flooring over the new joist to create additional storage. Because of Covid, the estimated wait for the new door was 6 weeks. It took much longer then 6 weeks to manufacture, but Marty called me several times during the delay to update me on the progress. I really did appreciate how informed he kept me.
