"Valentin did an amazing job replacing the bathtub faucet in one of our rental properties. He was also able to diagnose a pinhole leak in an old pipe and quickly fixed the issue. The bill was quite reasonable and I was happy to pay for peace of mind in knowing the job was done right. I work in construction as well and Valentin is the person I will refer my clients to."

"Everything went very well. I am very happy with the service I received. The technician arrive right on time and was very professional . As it turned out it was just a capacitor and the system was repaired quickly. While replacing the capacitor the technician also removed Landscaping from around the compressor and balanced it for me."

Dec 26th. I was on vacation when a friend who was watching over our house called me to let me know I had a leak in my roof and water was dripping into the back bedroom. I knew I needed someone to help mitigate the water and help find the source of the leak.
I went to Angie?s list on my iPad and found Marc at Above All Cleaning and Restoration so I decided to call him based on pervious reviews.
Marc answered right away, and was at my home inspecting the damage in a few hours. He gave me updates and photos so I could view for myself what had happened. This all took place while I was 2800 miles away in Puerto Rico and I was not going to be home for another two weeks. What impressed me the most about Marc was he was about making sure everything was taken care, He told me not to worry about a deposit we could take care of it when I get home. He was concerned about taking care of my issue and making sure my home was secure. Marc had a roofer out to find the source of the leak; it was an ice dam so it cleared up as it melted but would need to be repaired.
Marc started the water mitigation process to prevent mold and dry out the space. He help start working on what was going to be needed to fix the roof, replace drywall and paint and texture my ceiling. So everything was ready for me when I returned home.
I cannot tell you how relieved I was to have found someone like Marc. When you are so far away from home and you are having an issue like this can be overwhelming.
Everything from the initial water mitigation to the roofing repair work, the drywall crew, the texture and painting the ceiling went very smooth. Everyone on Marc?s team and people he referred me to, were the best. He has a great team and knows the right people.
All of the work would have been done sooner if I did not need to deal with the previous owner regarding the roof ?guarantee? they gave us when we purchased the house. From the time we started with fixing the roof the finishing up with painting the ceiling and cleaning the carpets was a week and a half at most."

"Leo was good at communicating his availability and showing up on time. When he arrived he evaluated what he would need to fix the leak, went to the local Home Depot to get needed materials and quickly made the repair. The leak is fixed and it was all done at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to use Leo again if I have another issue with my hot tub."

"Overall, they did a decent work, but there were definitely flaws in the job. Installation of the Pella door was good. I had to add quite a bit of insulation around it to assure minimal air leakage. The deck was well built. However, when John left for a while we found one of his workers trying to hammer a screw into place. That indicates pretty much "warm body" hiring in my view.
The lawn edging surrounding the deck was poorly installed, with a seam right at a 90-degree corner; it has come apart and I'll have to replace it. Inside the edging, we wanted rock. When he came up short with quantity he supplien, he "borrowed" rock that we had paid for from another area of landscaping, leaving that area shorted.
Most problematic, there is a drain from the roof that runs under the deck which carries the majority of our roof's water. John's suggestion--and I kick myself for accepting it--was to dig a 3' pit (barely), line it with ground-cloth, fill it with larger rock, and dump the drain into it. In this clay, that pit acts as a rather small barrel,. In anything but the lightest rain, the pit overflows. Because the lawn is nearly level, some of it comes back against the foundation and has caused a moisture problem in my basement.
What was needed, I now realize, was a "french drain" to carry the water much further away, and to an above-grade exit. John's "shortcut" solution was totally insufficient, which I think as a professional he should have realized. I am now looking for a contractor to rework the drainage issue. It will be more expensive, now that the deck is in place, but I have to do it to stop the moisture problem.
