The fireplace opening turned out to be short, so he had to widen the hight of the opening by cuttitting the brick tiles, so it was a lot more work than I originally thought. However, he handled this issue pretty easily and completed the job perfectly, yet the cost was very competitive. Definitely a 5-star contractor.
