"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"Bobby was hired to install a kitchen backsplash, a shiplap wall, change out multiple light fixtures including a ceiling fan that required scaffolding, and came up with the perfect idea for a trim detail. He went out of his way to help me even hang some decor that was in a hard to reach area and cleaned my gutters. He is very professional and skilled. He's my go-to repair person. You will not be disappointed."

"It was a pretty negative experience. We had some of our windows replaced and we wanted to do the sunroom, but because they are the only people in this area that sells this particular window, and I wanted those windows.  <br /> <br /> They are a bunch of a**holes. Not the whole company, but the owners are jerks.  <br /> <br /> I think they installed the windows properly, but I'm not happy that they got stain on the window shades. The price was a "C" considering the windows I was buying were really expensive. It's not their fault that the windows were expensive.  <br /> <br /> It was hell working with them. When they showed up the second time, I didn't want anything to do with them. My husband talked to them. I wanted to distance myself."

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

"The crew was polite, very efficient, and very clean. They were able to turn around a full roofing job within 24 hours and took the time to rake/sweep up any left over debris, run the lawn with a roller magnet to pick up any loose nails. Bottom line, they showed up when they said they would, worked hard, worked well, and they did a fantastic job."

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

"They were very professional, helpful and responsive in answering questions and giving us a quote. In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service."

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in La Crosse, WI

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
