Work began immediately after Thanksgiving and most work completed and appliances installed Dec 23rd just in time for holidays. Work was done quickly, efficiently and professionally, trash constantly removed, foreman was always available and immediately responsive during this time. We were required to purchase new appliances ourselves which they installed, which we preferred. 1/3 payment required upfront, 1/3 when work started and the remainder when work was substantially completed and rooms livable (their definition). The contract allowed 10% of that final payment to be held back until all work listed and priced in the contract was completed. Although that seemed to be a lot to pay before work was completed, I correctly believed they could be trusted to complete the work quickly and properly. When mistakes were made which occasionally happened (e.g. a light wouldn't turn off and the range hood wouldn't vent), they returned immediately to correct the problem. All the contractors and subcontractors were professional, polite and helpful."
