"We contracted Winthrop Place for a remodeling job that included converting an extra room into an additional bathroom & converting the adjoining room into a bedroom (adding a closet, new doorway and framing the existing doorway) for my elderly mom. Michael and crew did a fantastic job. They were very professional and completed the work in a short time frame, making the house much more accessible for my mom. They took care to preserve and re-use the house's original wood trim/moulding so the new rooms tie in perfectly with the existing spaces. Michael has many years of experience and it shows in both the quality of the work performed and the suggestions he offered along the way. Finding a contractor for a big job can be very stressful, these guys made the whole remodeling process easy & painless. I'm happy to say that this company knocked it out of the park in terms of quality of workmanship, timeliness, and fair pricing. Can't ask for much more than that. After this project I can confidently recommend Winthrop Place if you're looking for a local contractor. I just wish I'd found them sooner!"

"Awesome job! Redid the carpeting and all the trim in multiple rooms of my house. Even replaced a few windows. I was thinking it would be almost a week to get everything done but they did it all within a couple of days. 10/10 would hire again."

"Workers arrived on time, introduced themselves and got right to work. Floors looked good after sanding and the first two coats of finish and even better after the final coat was done and dry the next day. Everything was cleaned up nicely. Early in the job workers called and suggested expanding the work to other rooms at a good price but accepted a no without problems. Only thing that would have made this a better experience would have been better communication up front about putting down new molding and thresholds. Late the first day they offered to do the work for an additional charge that sounded like a lot so I said no. After further research I found their price was a good one and I wish I would have had them do the work. Their equipment did the job but was not the linear machine I have seen before. Also I was not given a choice of sheen. I should have asked more questions. Still, floors look great and I am satisfied. There do not seem to be many people doing this kind of work. Only got two contractor suggestions and one installed new flooring, did not do refinishing. Fortunately my one choice turned out well."

"They were kind to first time home buyers and explained things in great detail. Lance was willing to stay late and answer our many questions, talk through what he saw each step of the way, and how to proceed from there. Lance is very personable and easy to approach. He has worked in this field his whole professional life and has seen a lot in his time. His employees are also quite experienced in the field and willing to share their knowledge just as Lance does. My ability and confidence in how to manage home repair has increased greatly. All exterior walls of the basement were waterproofed in approximately two weeks of work, with new cement laid first, followed by drylock; the basement windows got a silicone seal around the edges, and new window well covers were installed. Now, our basement is dry and safe. Real Deal Remodeling is not a company that hastily paints drylock on the walls and proclaims the basement waterproofed. Where Lance really shone is with the paint colors for the living room. He helped us narrow down our selection for the accent wall around the fireplace, and multiple visitors have complemented us on our design choices. It is high praise when visitors to one’s home wonder aloud about remodeling and redesigning their own homes. No more antique white on every wall in the house for us!"

Let’s keep it real, You have a plumbing problem and I love solving problems so let’s work together!

"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."
