"After the last contractor I hired damaged my sprinkler system, I needed a specialist to come in and fix it. If I had to describe Ever in a word, it's professional. He truly is a specialist and is great at what he does. He came in on time, evaluated my system, and came up with a solution at a very reasonable price. He also saw a space in my yard that could've used an upgrade. Within minutes, he sketched out a rough landscaping plan for the area that included DCG base, accent lighting, and a few succulents. The entire project was completed after three days. I'm very happy with his work and would definitely recommend Ever and his crew if you need to repair your irrigation system."

"I had met with the owner of Bottoms Up, Gwyny a few weeks prior...she was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel confident that her team would do a great job. They did. Her 3 man crew arrived on time and after I showed them the trees, they immediately began their work. They were all so friendly, courteous, hard working, and very meticulous...after they left, the trees looked great, and the area around the trees was completely cleaned up and tidy....the only evidence that they had been there, was that the trees looked perfect! I would definitely use Bottoms Up again!

"Nick was great, very personable. However, he wanted to charge us a fee to draw anything up before the work began. I understand the point of a design fee, and know that it's not uncommon. But we were only wanting a sketch as we talked about it, and instead, he wanted something like $350 with only a small portion of that going to the overall price. We discussed how we'd use the Angie's List deal (if I'm not mistaken, it was $2800 work of work for $1499 including 15 plants, succulents costing more, and a line of water to be laid down - the deal is now gone). I provided 9 plants, pavers and a tree myself. I'll also state - he asked me to pay a portion up front, and the remainder at the conclusion of the job, instead of going through Angie's List for payment. The guys worked quickly, and were polite and friendly. They finished in 2 days. A week later, one of the valves busted on the sprinkler system, and our backyard flooded a bit. Their guy came out the following day and replaced the defective part, and dug up our drain. That was 2 weeks ago, and the yard is still a bit muddy - not their fault, obviously. But I wanted to provide photos of the work. It's beautiful, they did a great job. We have a decomposed granite path from the side of the house to the back door, and all the rest of the area is mulch and several plants. My issue is that the invoice I received is very "general". See photo. I requested via text message a more in depth invoice after the fact, and was told by Nick that "that would be it." I see no evidence that I got the Angie's List deal, nor any credit whatsoever for the plants I provided instead of using his. Looking back, had I purchased the package through the website itself, perhaps he'd have a better accounting of the various aspects of the job. We have one of four sections of the backyard now complete, and to be honest, I don't believe we'll be using this company again. It's a huge yard, and a very costly endeavor. We just want to know where our money goes/went."

"Wes and his crew have worked with us before (May 2016 - see prior review ) so our expectations were high based on the prior high-quality experience. They exceeded our high expectations in terms of quality and time to get the job done. His description of his company states 'we build your dreams' and this could not be more accurate. We thought about this space for quite some time and had very specific requests about building materials (we wanted Ipe hardwood and particular stones and particular lights and a particular avocado tree!). He took our poorly drawn sketch and turned it into our dream side yard. Turned out as we expected only the color of the wood really pops and looks amazing against the rock. As with the last job, he pays attention to all of the unseen structural details - the stepping stones are all cemented in and level, the planters - while appearing to be above ground - are all anchored and level. This team really does pay attention to detail and doesn't just throw things together. I have to say - I did not even bother getting a competing bid because our prior experience with Wes was so great and we are so happy with the quality of the work. We'll have him out one more time for a final project we have planned in a year or two - have to dream it up! I told Wes he is always welcome to use our yard as a 'reference' - it is a dream come true space."

"Sebastian replaced a faulty sprinkler valve. A partially blocked pipe was discovered at the side of the driveway that caused water to hit our neighbor's electrical breaker box. That line was flushed, and a couple of sprinkler heads replaced. System is good to go. Good job, friendly folks and reasonable cost."
