"I worked with Felipe who works for Alamo Stone. I had text him pictures of the sink. My sink became unglued from the granite countertop and collapsed. For several days I tried finding someone to repair it. Granite company people said it was a plumbing issues and plumbers said it was a granite problem. I knew it wasn't big money like a totally cracked counter top, but Felipe gave me the time of day. It wasn't. plumbing issue. The house was built in 1983 so the glue had just decomposed over time. My countertops are at least 20 years old so I was not surprised that Cross Cleaning Co recommended additional work (diamond polishing) that will be required to fully address the small pits. We had 3 bids all through Angie's List, one of the companies Granite Outlet II that  we had used before. The other two bids were from Solid Stone Fab. and KAT Fab

Most of the bids were similar, except all of the companies provided different prices for removal, sink cutout, plumbing for rehook-up of sink, and rehooking up stove top.

Granite Outlet II had a plumber in-house. Solid Stone had a recommendation for a plumber and KAT didn't provide a recommendation.

We kept our backslash and KAT was the only company that had an issue with cutting it down if needed. And it was cut to allow for the quartz.

We chose Solid Stone Fabricators because we trusted Claudia to do a good job for us. She was very attuned to our needs and anytime we asked her a question if she didn't already know it she got right back with us. She took good notes and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. We went to see the where the countertops were fabricated at Solid Stone and we also went to Cambria Quartz in Carrollton and looked at the Quartz we wanted and received large samples there.

They came out and measured and showed up on time, then we scheduled for the install.

The installers showed up at their scheduled time and finished in less then 5 hours. The next morning the plumber came and hooked the sink and stove back up.

Claudia came out a few days later and bought us our extra quartz. its VERY heavy but we wanted to keep it and they also made us a cutting board.

They took the time to sand the old iron tub, and they did a careful job of covering every surface in the bath so that no mess was made. "I couldn't be happier with this company. We did a total remodel of our kitchen and kept getting postponement of the delivery of the island and bar countertops. They would give up one time frame and then move it to a later time. We called Armadillo and they came out the next day. In a little over a week, Mario installed the new island and bar. "All work was completed in less than a week. Miguel Rios and his crew did an excellent job with the floors. They had to level the concrete floors/foundation in some places for proper installation. 
I did not want the blinds installed until the dust (stirred up from removal of the carpet) was removed from the walls and windows.
They cleaned up the dust and then the blinds were installed in one day. Installation of the blinds was well-done.
I am really enjoying my new beautiful floors! So glad I got rid of all that carpet.
I called Fine Floors several months later to fix a minor problem. Miguel came out very soon after that call and fixed the problem.
