"Matthews Well & Pump came out to do a water test and inspect all of our well equipment, which was 29 years old. They showed up promptly for the appointment and conducted a thorough review of our system. The technician informed me that the well pump pressure tanks were very close to failure, which was not surprising for a nearly 30 year old system. He re-pressurized the tanks, but recommended that we replace the aging 2 tank system with a single tank system. He took the water sample for testing at the lab. Within about a week, I received the analysis of the water sample, as well as a written recommendation for a softener/filtration system as well as the quote to replace the pressure tanks. The price for the softener seemed a little high, but was less than other quotes I received from competitors. The softener recommended was a 2 tank system - one for softening and one providing whole house filtration. The price to put in a new well pump pressure tank seemed reasonable enough. I asked several questions of the technician via email and by phone. All of my questions were answered with thorough responses. We scheduled the job and Matthews showed up promptly as scheduled. The work was completed very professionally. The company followed-up with us by phone within 2 weeks to be sure we were satisfied with the work and the quality of the water.
