"I am writing this DETAILED review, because I am sure most prospective customers will welcome and appreciate it. BACKGROUND: How many times had we seen TV shows about vendors winning a job, then disappearing half-way through the project, leaving the homeowners with a mess everywhere. We were hyper-sensitive to this fact, so we really did our due diligence. We interviewed five separate contractors. Opulent Design Build (ODP) got our business, because: 1. They thoroughly reviewed our project plans and provided guidance (without making us feel like an open ATM). 2. They were the ONLY vendor to line-item each major project item cost. 3. ONLY vendor that came in upfront and said all material was cost+ 20%. Nothing more and nothing less. 4. They even welcomed us purchasing some of the materials on our own, saving us some money. For example, when we saw toilets on sale at Home Depot, we purchased three, saved the receipt and they deducted it from the project cost. 5. Reputation: After reviewing ODB's business records and job history, they truly out-shined the rest. We were confident they would still be in business throughout the project, unlike some other vendors that showed up with questionable records and spotty history. 6. Mgmt availability was impressive, in that when we had some questions and I requested to speak with the owner to wrap things up, he met with me the next day. Not many owners take personal ownership of their business like Eddie. PROJECT DETAILS: After a month of reviewing contractors, we were very tight with our timeline, as we had 2 months to get this full-house major remodel completed. a) Payment Schedule: ODB came to us with a payment schedule aligned to project milestones, something you don't often find in the industry. Often vendors just expect their payment on a due date, regardless of whether or not they completed their previously-indicated project tasks. We had eight payments set up, with the first being larger to allow for them to buy materials needed to start the project. Everything worked out as promised and we honored our side by making timely payments too. b) Workers: Right from the start, their Senior Construction Manager, Johnny S. was onsite managing the start of the project. To my surprise, he would show up onsite almost EVERY DAY in the morning to answer any questions his team might have. One thing we loved about Johnny was that we had direct access to him too, via mobile phone. My wife and I would easily text him or call with any concerns or questions. His response time was usually within the hour. The other thing that impressed me is that consistently, we had 2-4 guys on our job site SIX days a week for the FULL two months. In the beginning, Johnny even had 6-7 guys working for a full two weeks, since most of the heavy lifting fell into those initial weeks. Oh, and these guys were really great too. Very respectful of my family and property. No smoking, drinking or profanity. Although many spoke Spanish, there was always someone their that could converse in English if needed. c) Work Quality: Johnny told me that the reason all his guys were super talented in their respective areas is because he is extremely focused on hiring only the best. These guys were truly amazing, and the quality really came through in all aspects. Johnny would back me up too, if we mutually agreed that something was not looking right and he would instruct his guys to do it over, regardless of the additional time and money required at his expense. d) The Unexpected: Three-quarters of the way thru the project, after all the walls were finished and painted, we developed TWO slab-leaks. Johnny calmed me down and instead worked with me to ensure that the problem got resolved in a timely fashion and a reasonable cost. We cannot recommend this company enough! HIRE THEM - PERIOD! :-)"

"Cielo Construction is the best home improvement company. We met and talked to Erin who came over to our house to check and to give us an estimate for us and to be honest "from that meeting" Erin was very nice and professional and he made us feel very motivated about the entire remodeling project. The work was to redo the whole house including the backyard (pool and Jacuzzi). The completed work looks stunning and we are happy that we hired them for that work. We will absolutely recommend Cielo Construction to anyone who is interesting in remodeling their house. Our tip is to have a detailed estimate (like what we got from Erin). This will help you a lot during the work."

"We have never experienced such a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency with any other construction company. We have done multiple remodels with other companies in the past and have had numerous issues throughout the process. Thankfully we came across Mr Build. They did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel and reflooring throughout our house, etc. Their tile work is perfection and their attention to detail is very impressive. Most important, the process was smooth and as easy as a remodel could go. We could not be happier. Thank you Ami and Mr Build! "

"I highly recommend McGee Construction for any house projects you might have. I bought my house in March and started a remodel in June, which included adding a master bedroom and bath, gutting the kitchen and living room and also gutting the existing bathrooms. Larry held my hand through the whole process. He was helpful, enthusiastic, trust worthy, responsible and reliable. His subs were great too. He was very conscious of my budget at all times and was also able to do excellent work. His expertise about how things should look and the kinds of products we should use was enormously helpful. I didn't know what I was doing at all and I never felt as though Larry took advantage of that in any way. I didn't give him 5 starts for small reasons. One reason is his electrician, which he has since stopped using, I didn't feel was up to the same caliber of his other subs. Also, the timeline and payment schedule is very loose. This made me a little nervous because I had heard that contractors can really take advantage of you, but although loose, there were no surprises in the end. The project took longer than I had wanted it to, but there was never any down time. There were always people there working. It really did take as long as it took to get all of it done. Larry is a wonderful contractor and also just a wonderful person. I believe you will not only get the house of your dreams, but you will enjoy working with him as well."

"We had another company come and remove the popcorn ceilings from two rooms. This left major drywall repair and paint work needed. Treeium’s David A. came and gave (1 of 4) bids that was in the lower middle. I like the company backing and internal work staff. So we had them start. David says “No Problem”; it’s a thing with him. As things go, the workers didn’t tape-off a hall and drywalling/construction dust made it into the other side of the house. Imagine cloths-piles and bedroom-furniture chaos covered with a fine coating of #whoknowswhat! We where overwhelmed. “No Problem”. David puts us up in a hotel for the night and next day brings 2 maids with mover-guys to clean the entire house. They got in and around things you couldn’t imagine. Very well done. Then, my family expects the finished work to be like new; so we inspect the final results and the ceiling texture isn’t right and the paint was flat not eggshell (mixed communication issue). “No Problem” David gets the guys to come back and repaint another coat over the entire job! It’s beautiful and as imagined. So, there may be mistakes; it’s construction. but when Treeium’s David A. says “No Problem”, he means it. This company wants you to be happy in the end. One note I’d recommend thorough communication and documentation of the exact statement of work in advance (paint color/finish/location, etc.). I’d suggest that the company provide checkbox type forms in which to specify work color, finish, location, etc. for paint or extra details; for example. A standard process for nailing down the many details would be good"
