"Olsen has twice replaced the mortar on our patio steps. The first time work was completed in less than two hours, which seemed quick considering the amount of steps and price charged. About 12 months later the mortar began to crack and fall out again. Olsen completed the second repair as part of their warranty on work completed. Update: Fast forward another year, and the mortar is cracking and falling out again. Upon further investigation it was determined the problem was with the original installation of steps five years earlier by builder. Given that the original cracking started to appear two years after installation by builder, Olsen should have known this was not a normal tuckpointing job since that is their business and expertise, especially when they had to come out and redo their work under a warranty guarantee. Ultimately had to have stones removed completely and installed again with different mortar and adhesive. Olsen did not do this work as their bid was 25% more than other bid I received. I would potentially hire Olsen again, but would do my own due diligence on the potential project and not rely on Olsen for figuring things out."

"Can't say enough good things about our experience with AAA-1 Masonry & Tuckpointing. We had two holding walls with brick that was deteriorating. They power washed to identify which bricks needed to be removed and swapped out those bricks with new ones. In addition they replaced the capstones on the two walls with larger capstones to provide the walls more protection from the elements. Everything was sealed and completed flawlessly. The crew was experienced and professional. Since the work was done this summer, our walls don't even get wet from rain! We are so grateful for the expert repair but also the guidance that replacing the capstones would provide more of a long term solution. Highly recommend these guys for your masonry needs."

"Marcus showed up on time to look at the damage and give me an estimate. He was very professional and performed the work promptly He and his laborer did a great job and cleaned up very well. I will have him put the air conditioner into a side wall in the spring when it's warmer. I am very pleased with his work. "Wotjek and his crew did an excellent job. We had them remove two short accent walls on the front of our home. After the removal, they used the old bricks to repair the corners so that you would never know that they had ever been any other way. The removal and repair where there had been an old window box was also done. They cleaned all the unused bricks and stacked them in our garage so we would have matching bricks should we ever need to replace or repair any of our masonry. He was very responsive and punctual. He came back to acid wash the mortar and we all agreed the mortar color wasn't what it should be. He has promised to return after winter to grind out and replace the mortar. This is fine with us and we trust that he will keep his promise. I will report back after that is completed. I highly recommend his work. We would hire him again if needed.

Believe it or not but I thought  I had submitted this review back in 2014 when the work was done.  Glad I checked back.

They were excellent.  Not only did they do the job efficiently but t and thoroughly (making sure everything worked) hey were also customer friendly!
