"Brandon and Matt did a fantastic job repairing and leveling several cracks in the sidewalk in front of my business. They were prompt, professional, and thorough. I couldn?t be more pleased. I highly recommend Groundworks and would definitely use them again."

"Terrible! I would not hire him again and I would not recommend this man. I had loose stones that needed to be put back up, but he told me it would be better just to take them all down and start over from scratch. So we did he also assured me that he could get the stones that matched my house. He put stones up with the back of the stone facing outward and put mortar on the front of the stone. I asked him twice if he could get the stones that match the stones that were on my house already and he said yes. When he ran out of stones, he got stones that did not match my house and had them up whenever I got home. It looks awful and I would not hire him again. He also left my job for days and went to another job. It took him about two times as long to finish my job as he promised."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Lake-cormorant, MS

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
