"I am grateful for Scott Schneider of Olde Tyme Floor Company for solving a mystery! I have just had engineered wood flooring installed in my home, (by a general contractor, not a specialized flooring contractor like Scott - mistake #1!) and couldn't understand why I didn't like the finished result!!! So I reached out to Olde Tyme to refinish my BRAND NEW FLOORS (I know - crazy!) Scott immediately diagnosed the problem and, thankfully, it was fixable! - The installer that I used (not Scott) didn't properly clean up after installation, which left a very visible and unsightly gluey "haze" - a film over the entire project, which wouldn't come off with regular wood-floor cleaner. There were even foot prints (presumably glue) from the installers' shoes! Scott very kindly, on his off hours, detailed the steps I needed to take to fix the problem - namely, insisting that the original installer return and properly clean the entire floor. ***I would absolutely hire Olde Tyme Floor Co.to install any future floors. Scott is solid and above board (no pun intended) is really communicative and personable and really knows his business! Oh, how I wish I used Olde Tyme Floor Co.!!! In two and a half days Javier, and his crew completely restored the hardwood floors in 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and den. They look brand new and I could not be happier. "Victor Jimenez and his company Dynamic Hardwood Flooring are first-rate! I called them to install sheet linoleum in a bathroom, and he showed me that wood-patterned vinyl boards are a much better product at no extra cost. The installation was done on schedule, in 4~5 hours, and it looks beautiful! They did all the cutting outdoors to keep our house free of dust, and cleaned up everything afterward. Finally, I was very happy with their modest bid, and there were never any suggestions that it should change. Victor has the experience (20 years) and skill to get the job done both quickly and well."
