I enjoy working I started painting with my family at 5 years old stuck with that for a while. Then went to another company and got more experience in a different trade. "When we purchased our house several years ago, we knew we would have to install a patio as there was nothing in our backyard but grass. We found Jay with Advanced Curb Appeal at the Houston Home and Garden Show. His booth accurately displayed the type of pavers he would use to create our patio. After taking bids from 5 other companies, Jay's prices were very competitive and I decided that Advanced Curb Appeal would be the company to install our patio. Jay met with us to get an idea of what we were looking for and approximate cost to install. He made recommendations as to color and type of paver. Next, he showed us examples of the bricks and explained the process. Jay then worked with our HOA to receive approval for the install. Once the crew came out, they worked nonstop! Each paver was placed with care. They spent a lot of time making sure it was level and that any water would drain correctly. The results are stunning and I could not be happier. "Roger and his team spent about 2 days at my home revamping all my plant/flower beds, which were in very bad shape. They cleaned out everything, added new soil/mulch; and consulted on new plants and design. They built up the beds with new top soil and mulch and planted a large number of new plants (not dinky ones, but nice sized plants). The gutters were also cleaned out and power-washed. A large number of flagstones were power-washed and "reset." The team was on time, and worked diligently until the job was done. The job was handled very professionally, looks beautiful, and as a result I have hired Magic Touch to do the ongoing maintenance of my lawn/landscape. Great job!"

His crew foreman JJ was excellent in answering our questions and making certain that the installation was everything we expected. "Rob and his crew installed a root barrier to protect the back of our house from foundation problems from a large oak tree.  They also added catch basins to existing drainage pipes as well as replacing some piping where needed.  Rob spent a generous amount of time taking a good look at our property, assessing what would work best and answering all of my questions. I was very pleased with the work done and with the people he has on his crew.

After 11 years at my current residence I finally got tired of dragging water hoses around and wasting water.   I finally decided to pull the trigger on a sprinkler system.

Mike came out a month or two ahead of time to survey my front and back yards.  He then created drawings of the proposed system with the locations of sprinkler heads.  He even took in to account future plans for our gardens in his designs. When he came back by with the designs he went over all options and costs with me ahead of time until we had it setup they way I wanted it and within my budget.

His crew showed up on time on the install date and they all worked very hard. I was amazed how quickly they dug the trenches.

Now is a good time to mention something I was most impressed with. They took very special care of the grass above the trench and set it aside so that they could patch when done.  Most system installs I have seen in my neighbor's yards you could easily see the dirt trails where the trenches were dug. On my yard, when Mike's team was done, you could barely tell anything was done to my yard.

After the install was complete Mike trained my wife and I on how to use the system.  He demonstrated and reviewed each zone with us.  He even took the time to explain how to protect the system when it freezes out.

I plan to have Mike and team back out soon to do some work on my landscaping.

"Marvin and his crew trimmed some trees and removed a large tree along side our home. It wasn’t an easy task being there was a fence and the neighbors house next to it. Tree was removed with no issues. I would recommend Lewis Discount landscaping to anyone. They will be doing our landscaping this spring."

"We were happy with the foundation work but we were disappointed that our landscaping had been ruined in a couple places around our house. 3 bushes that they attempted to replant, ended up dead because they dried out while they worked. A large section of bushes in the front of our house that were dug up, were thrown away instead of replanted. We're currently selling our house so we will have to replace everything that was damaged to make it look good. We told the foreman what had happened and showed him the damage. Haven't heard back from anyone since then."
