"Trucks and workers were promp and worked all day preparing for the concrete. We had extended the width of driveway. They poured leveled and gave instructions to water it daily. Sounds strange but they said it has to for proper curing."
The homeowner's driveway had endured years of wear and tear, resulting in discoloration and numerous cracks across the surface. Additionally, the concrete slabs had become uneven due to the soil settling beneath them.
Due to soil settlement and poorly placed control joints, the customer's driveway had significant cracking. You can see that some stains have formed, indicating that the concrete lacks sealant protection.
The homeowner knew that their home's addition had experienced settlement damage when vertical cracks appeared on the exterior walls.
The homeowner became alarmed when they noticed stair-step cracking patterns emerging from the window frame in the exterior wall of the home.
Upon noticing significant cracks developing in the walls, the homeowner became concerned about their foundation's condition.

"I met wit Bill Brown who reviewed my project and advised that what i wanted done with concrete would not fix the issue. He advised me of a simple fix that I could do to remedy the problem. He was very through in his assessment and spent time explaining the pros and cons of my project. I would use this company, especially Bill Brown, if ever I had a need for their services in the future."

"Famulous price and service. They moved all the patio furniture and pressure washed driveway, walkways and pool deck. They then applied multiple coats of water based sealant to all the pavers. Pavers look brand new! I would hire them again in a jiffy."

"We hired Perkins Concrete to remove our existing driveway that had developed a few large cracks and install a new enlarged driveway. Upon removing the old driveway, they discovered we had a hole in the ground. We were very concerned about it being a sinkhole, but Warren came out a couple of times in-between all the rain we were getting and determined it was a hole that was used as a dump from previous construction. Rather than having us inconvenienced trying to find an excavator to dig it all out, he offered to do it himself. We really appreciated that. After many days of delay due to rain, he had it dug out and filled back in. Through all the weather delays and the issue with the hole in the ground, Celeste continually kept us informed of the progress (and we really appreciated that as well). Again, after more weather delays they were finally able to pour the concrete. Warren had extra horizontal relief joints cut and a vertical cut to help extend the life of our driveway. Now, after having used it for a few days we can say that we love our new driveway! We are very pleased with Perkins Concrete. From the initial phone conversation with Celeste to the exceptional, personal service provide by Warren Perkins, we feel we made the correct decision to hire Perkins Concrete for our project. We highly recommend Perkins Concrete."

"Excellent professional service. The two technicians took care placing multiple long rods into the soil on two sides of my house where Casey (owner of Camrock) had previously found during his initial evaluation very loose soil before he gave me a very fair estimate. A two part polyurethane solution was pumped into the hollow rods to expand and fill voids. I was impressed with the laser level that the team used to precisely control ground reactions. I initially thought I may have had a sink hole though Casey’s ground probing and years of experience felt the issue was loose soil from years of water drainage off the roof. I’m very impressed with Camrock Foundations."

"After researching multiple Terrazzo floor restoration companies in the Tampa Bay Area, was contacted by another business owner who highly recommended David and his team for the project to restore two bedrooms which were covered in carpeting and recently discovered as having old Florida Terrazzo flooring. After reading the informative company website and positive reviews, I called The 800 number expecting to have to be called back. David answered the phone directly, listened to my request, offered several solutions, and even advised the work could be done the next day. I really appreciated the courteous and professional suggestions and knowledge David displayed both over the phone, and directly in person the following day. A courtesy call was made prior to arrival. Arrived on time and will full crew. David and Crew were courteous, respectful of my flooring when moving equipment in and out of the home, and did exactly what was discussed and agreed upon. Highly recommend this business."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Lakeland, FL

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
