"Red Mug Construction was by far the best experience with home remodeling that Iâ ve ever had in my life. The turn around time for this project was insane. We reached out at the beginning of the week, paid our deposit at the end of the week, materials were purchased over the weekend and they arrived at our home to start with the following Monday. Their staff was courteous, prompt and used the time efficiently. What could have been a months long ordeal was finished in about 10 days and they even showed up on Thanksgiving for a half dayâ s work! "I utilized both Habitar Design and Stratagem Construction for my kitchen project. It was a good experience from beginning to end and I will engage them on again on my next project. Some of my highlights included: My initial request for a quote was promptly responded to. It was the owner that call me and he gave me confidence that I could trust his firm to complete quality work. The design guidance was great and I was provided as little or as much feedback as I needed in pulling the project details together. Utilizing Habitar flowed seamlessly into my engagement with Stratagem Construction. Pricing was very transparent and all questions were promptly responded to Construction work didn't begin until all materials were secured - it made for short duration project which was great Throughout the project the worksite was well maintained - they didn't leave materials all over and respected my home Once the work was completed I was encouraged to keep punch list of items that required more work. There were very few, and all were addressed promptly. My one critique was that my start date was delayed a bit. I should have expected that but it was still frustrating. However, communication with Stratagem during the delay was good and they did a solid job explaining the delay and managing my expectations."

"I received approximately 6 estimates from various contractor for badly needed repairs to the exterior of our house. This work involved masonry restoration as well as extensive trim work. The trim is not only decorative but functional on my Tudor style home as it actually serves as a protective barrier over face brick which was constructed with channels cut out to accommodate the cedar trim. Odd but that's how it was built. This presented challenges as many contractors didn't want to deal with both masonry and carpentry work. I ended up hiring an excellent contractor to do the masonry work and subsequently hired Todor from Alenia Exteriors to do the necessary carpentry repairs. Todor had many excellent ideas and was genuinely interested in lasting repairs as well as making everything look great. We ended up choosing cedar trim and cedar lap siding which was painted on both the front and back sides and the end grain. This is a very important step to ensure this material is adequately protected from the elements. Many contractors didn't want to bother with this step or insisted it wasn't that important. The bottom line is other contractors didn't want to spend time to properly prepare material. Todor's schedule was booked up and it took awhile to actually begin the process - this was communicated to me upfront but I was willing to wait for his schedule to open up in order to contract him for this project. Todor performs the work himself - I like the idea of having the same person provide the estimate and also do the actual work. Todor's crew is also equally hard working and skilled. "Amazing quality work! This was our first major home reno project; so we needed a lot of ‘hand-holding’ throughout the process. Richard Bialas was our guy! He was super patient with us when we didn’t even have any actual drawing plans. He really understand what we wanted and was able to execute our ideas with such attention to detail. He even gave suggestions to help enhance our ideas. He has an endless resource of knowledge and experience. When we needed to get a stairwell post/sleeve we were going to have to custom order it, because our stairs are really steep it calls for a nonstandard size. This would take several weeks and more money. Richard was able to save us money by custom building it himself. He did a beautiful job designing the post with such quality craftsmanship while keeping it within our style. Richard explains his process every step of the way. We really felt a sense of confidence and trust within his work. He put so much quality and care into each of the projects as if it were for his own home. He was very accommodating with us when we needed something changed or if we were indecisive about a decision in our plans. He was super professional and thoughtful working around our household of two kids and a cat. He used his skills and a lot of creative problem-solving to make our home project stay true to our vision. We would definitely recommend Richard Bialas to our family and friends. We can’t wait to work with Richard again on our next home renovation project!"

"I cannot recommend Bigane Construction too highly!!  This was a difficult project, which spanned a period of three months--including the last month, during most of which my wife and I were living in the unit while construction was continuing.  The quality of the workmanship was far beyond our highest expectations.  The principal worker on the job, Lukasz, is a true artisan as well as a wonderful individual.  He was unfailingly helpful, was neat as could be, had great insights as to how best to do the work, and communicated with us constantly with regard to questions which would arise.  He also worked very closely with our kitchen and bathroom planner, to ensure that the actual work not only conformed to the drawings but to the planner's design vision as well.  Lukasz is a perfectionist, who insists on everything being absolutely correct.  He knows the kitchen and bath remodeling business inside and out.  The other workmen on the job which Bigane provided (including brick masons, plumbers, glass installers and painters) were equally professional.    Bill Bigane himself was always available when needed.  I feel that the overall fee was not excessive in the light of the work performed.  The resulting effort is a showpiece, of which we are extremely proud.  I hope to never again have to live through a remodeling--but if I did, Bigane would be the first people I would call."

"This review is a long time coming. We had always meant to put in a bathroom in our downstairs bedroom. We knew it would be a huge undertaking, but would make our downstairs the retreat we always wanted. Everyone from Bart’s was amazing. We utilized their design services to help with layout and finishes. They really got to know us and helped us articulate what we wanted. Two years after construction, this remains my favorite room in our house. We now have a beautiful vanity, large shower, toilet and a great laundry room. They maximized the limited amount of space we had available and provided a smart design. The person who worked on our bathroom was detail-oriented and cleaned up each day as if no work had happened. "Awesome team. Estimate promptly done with detailed plans. Work done cleanly, efficiently with great attention to detail. Adjustments to frame done at no cost once old deck removed. Minor issues with wiring with stair lights mitigated as well at no cost by their electrician. Final deck is just outstanding. Joel was very responsive to phone/text/email before/during build. Price was slightly higher than other estimates but the end result was absolutely worth the investment."
