He was knowledgeable and gave me what I thought was a fair quote of $1,800. The two other quotes I got for the same job were for $2,950. and $4,800. I am very familiar with home construction work as I have lived in my home since 1961 and have had 2 major add-ons and several inside remodels done during the past 59 years. Lifetime Construction showed up precisely on time for appointments ( a rarity among contractors) and performed the work as contracted. I would definitely use them again. Ivan assessed the insulation, showed me the issue with lack of insulation (there was only 3 inches) and the building standards, gave me a fair price on insulating, and a week later he has insulated this section of our home. I also could not believe this was not caught when we bought our home and again had insulation checked by a company last year after paying $3000 in ice dam removal. "Wow! A refreshing and outstanding experience. I contacted Coffer Custom to discuss a suspected patio door/moisture issue. Nate suggested we schedule for him to stop by, inspect and offer a bid. He arrived and was very professional, thorough, informative and personable. In the end, Nate said there was no work to be done...everything was fine and offered some simple do-it-yourself suggestions to resolve the issue in the future. Such integrity! "I'll make this short, but could write a novel. From the start he was great to work with, then once work began dates kept getting pushed and pushed. the wrong garage door was installed, I had a garage door opener installed that I didn't ask for (but am glad it's there now), the service door was the wrong swing, the apron had to be redone due to being the wrong size and it didn't have a slope to it. I heard over and over that he was just the messenger to relay the information to his sub-contractors. the project was completed one month after the 'promised' completion date. Once the project was comlete I have to say that I'm happy with the finished product, just the process was VERY frustrating. That's the short version...take it for what you will."

Trevor was part of the team when we were finishing a kitchen remodel in 2014.  At that time we had him open a space in a wall for a future cabinet, but not cut through the wall until we knew what we wanted.  We figured out what would work best and asked him to finish the wall cut-out and smooth the sides so the new cabinet will fit.  While Trevor cut the drywall, his helper vacuumed up all the dust.  They also moved a storage unit to another room.  Trevor also answered some questions I had about a problem outside. 

They were done with everything within 40 min and no dust or drywall fragments remained.  I'm sure he will return to help with some other job in the future.

"Chronic leaking into the one car garage from a second floor deck was excuse to remodel the garage. They repaired the deck, fixed the garage ceiling, repoured the base concrete and rehung the garage door. Also upgraded/reworked the electrical and fixed some exterior plumbing. They worked with WildFire lifts to place a car lift so we can now have two cares in the garage. Excellent coordinated work,. Professional and friendly team. Excellent price considering we added on some unexpected work."
