The contractor who did the other project had given me an estimated start date which I used to schedule the gutter replacement with Bjorkstrand Exteriors. I then received a surprise call that the other project was to begin 2 weeks early AND within 3 days of the call! I called Bjorkstrand Exteriors and explained the situation and requested an earlier date for the gutter work. They came the next day to finish the gutter work! I am thankful for Bjorkstrand Exteriors being willing to change their schedule and prioritize my sudden request which allowed the rest of the project to start without a delay. "I cleaned the gutters to make sure that wasn't contributing to the problem so when the problem continued with the heavy rains I called Tom and left a message. He called later that evening and left a message. I returned his call the following morning and left another message. He left another message stating he would get back to me to let me know when he could come out. Four days went by (over a weekend) before ain't heard from him again. He left a message that he would be at my house at 9:00 the following morning. He showed up at 10:00. During this time I also contacted the other business partner. He was driving when I called so he said he would return my call within a half hour. I never heard from him again. The original experience I had with this company was outstanding. They were prompt, professional and their work was excellent. I truly appreciate Tom coming to recognize that I failed to clean a small downspout and hopefully rectifying my problem. He didn't charge anything for the 10-15 minutes he was here. However, I was frustrated with the communication issues and his tardiness in arriving an hour late when he finally came. It seems to me that improving this one area of his business would drastically improve customer satisfaction.
