"We recently needed our Bosch Dishwasher to undergo some serious repair work. Bad hoses, some new parts for the pump and it all had to be done with it removed from its little cubby hole under the kitchen counter. Replacing the 4-year-old dishwasher was not a financial option. This, low decibel, (40) model, sells in the vicinity of too much. $1400 plus. It is extremely quiet, very efficient, and appreciated, considering our family TV viewing area is basically in the same room, the Family Room being open to the Kitchen Area. I contacted three appliance services. Only one responded. Russel’s Appliance Service. In this case the “right” one. We set up an appointment, he was right on time. The estimate for repair, parts replacement and labor was exceptionally reasonable and well within the scope of practical. That was after nearly three labor hours to remove the unit. With a tremendous amount of efficiency, cautious and careful manipulation, and a couple of bushels of patience he was able to get the dishwasher out. The cabinet installers did not correctly attach it to the cabinets, and it was installed by the previous owners before the hardwood flooring was installed in the kitchen. Meaning it sat on the subfloor. Which made it quite a task to remove. Parts had to be ordered and two trips later Mr. Russell, again delving into those patience bushels, was able to make the necessary repairs and re-installed the dishwasher into its cubby hole…correctly. If you need service or repair work, dishwasher in our case, we would not hesitate to contact it needed for stove or refrigerator, you need to call Russel Appliance Service."

"They replaced the part and adjusted some settings so that the a/c would shut off rather than flood the basement were the condenser to break again. The most noteworthy part of their service was their responsiveness. The auto-shut-off led the outside compressor to malfunction and only blow air rather than cool the house. We called them back, and they came right away and fixed everything for no charge. There should have been no charge, of course, but some companies might have tried anyway. Everything now works perfectly. They have earned our business with their professionalism, ability to diagnose and fix problems and, above all, commitment to customer service. I recommend them highly."

"I had to purchase material needed for the repair prior to the guy coming which wasn't ideal since I wasn't 100% sure what was needed but I got it close enough and he took the area apart and patched it up and gave me very clear instructions on what to do to give it the best chance of lasting (second coat of paint and checking the caulking in a few weeks). Very helpful and it turns out that all of the leaking, including what I thought was seeping under the wall, was from this area of rot and we've had no more problems in the 10 months since the repair was done. "First off, the electrician who came out was fantastic. Dan was on-time and got the work done without any issues. As you can select the person that comes out, I would highly recommend him to those who book on the site. He was also helpful in sorting out the billing issue... As has been noted by others, the pricing and the deal listed on here (service call and 30 minutes for $99) is not as clear as it should be. The company website has some additional costs that are easy to miss when you book and how it is written on the deal does not reflect that (or could be described as being a bit unclear and unspecified). They (through Dan's efforts) were able to knock off the materials cost when I paid, but I still had to pay an additional $29.50 for the fleet maintenance fee (at time of sale; this was later refunded). Again, this is unclear in the Angie's list deal and I imagine people miss this and the materials fee when they book as they assume the Angie's deal includes this. I spoke with the office after the service call to discuss the clarity of the deal for future customers, and said they would work with Angie's list to make this clearer in the deal, which I think has been the main issue other recent reviews have had a problem with. I would use their services again, but most likely just for larger electrical jobs."
